      Battery powered security camera recommendations?

My Arlo's made me realize hardwired cameras to a hard drive is the only way. They are very nice. Batteries last a long time, great notifications, and you will only ever catch a video of someone running away with your stuff. Can't identify the back of a head. I now have Reolink AI cameras...

So it appears my duty flashlight has grown legs

Late to the party, but I've been carrying a Nitecore p12 for 10ish years. I bought it at Bill Goodman's at Hara Arena, and 18650 batteries at RadioShack. Absolutely a great light that I would recommend to anybody.

      Shadow systems trigger mods?

If you plan on it you have to buy a new trigger with the bar. My Dr wouldn't work with any connector other than the stock. I pulled out the trigger bar and compared it to a stock gen 4 and the eagle head was smaller than Glocks. It causes reset issues, and dropping the striker on reset. I tried...

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

Ok. Just back from the hellcats first impressions. I love it. Super happy with it. Recoil is about the same as a g26 even being smaller and lighter. I put a couple hundred 115g coated through it, and a few handfuls of some spicy 147g xtp's without an issue. Kind of glad I wound up with the small...

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

So I wound up trading something that was collecting dust today for a optics ready hellcat (not a pro). Plan on hitting the range tomorrow. If I wind up hating it at least I'm not out anything.

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

Thank you. Is that the original hellcat, or the new one with the full grip? Size and weight are nearly identical to the mr920. The only on paper difference is the hellcat takes the micro dot and the mr920 takes a compact, and the backstraps. I'll probably wait and get the mr920.

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

I don't know of anywhere near me that sort of thing is possible.

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

I definitely agree. I really thought shadow systems was a gimmick until I held one. There really is no comparison to the Glock. Narrowed grip, no bump (unless you use the backstrap), higher grip, lighter, etc.

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

Sometimes I just catch a bug. The hellcat is also drastically cheaper, but I'd really hate to get it and regret it.

      MR920 elite vs Hellcat Pro

I've been wanting an mr920 elite real bad. Put some stuff up on Armslist to offset the price, even though I hate selling! Then I stopped by the LGS and fondled a Hellcat Pro and I really liked the feel. I have no experience with any of the Springfield strikers. Long time 26 carrier, and have a...

      The Gadget Thread

I'm a little late to the party but... Oven on °380 Line baking sheet with parchment paper Lay bacon out flat on said sheet, and put in oven Drain grease off every 7ish minutes until cooked to your liking. I also prefer to dig the the packs to find the fattiest one.

How do you evaluate a carry knife?

If it lasts more than a month. It's a good knife. If it costs over $30 you wasted your money because you won't use it as intended. I'm a fan of Kershaw folders. Reasonably priced and last years of use.

Local Place that sells steel targets

I bought one from rural king on Black Friday around $18. Either 10 or 12 inch can't remember. It's ar500 rated for rifle, I believe 3/8 thick. Excellent target. Hit it with a lot of 9 and 45. Some 22 and 12 gauge. It'll probably last a lifetime. I also bought a base and hanger for it on Amazon...

Long time listener first time caller...

I've been a reader on the forum for years (probably 8+) and finally decided to make an account. In to Glocks AND 1911's, and been reloading for a little over a year.
