I tried filing the trigger hole in the lower and a little bit on the trigger, barely at all really. I also greased the trigger hole, and now it seems to be working much better. No more sticking and it feels pretty smooth. I have the heavy trigger spring in there now, and ordered a trigger pull...
So I disassembled it again, this time greasing the trigger hole in the lower and the sides of the trigger, and it feels much better. There's still a little grit in the first stage, but it resets normally now and the pull weight feels more like what I would expect, although maybe still a little...
I did grease the points suggested by the pamphlet that came with the trigger, maybe I didn't use enough? I can try to take it out and relube it, but I did that already a couple times. Couldn't hurt I suppose
Here are a couple pictures of the trigger installed in my lower, hopefully that helps

So I just installed a MBT in my AR, but am running into issues. I first installed with the heavy spring, but it felt really heavy, like far heavier than I imagine it is supposed to. It also felt gritty. I uninstalled it, greased it, and reinstalled it several times, but kept running into the...
I'm considering upgrading my trigger group, but have never used any triggers beyond stock milspec ones. My gun currently has the PSA EPT. It seems okay, but like I said, I have nothing nicer to compare it to. As for my questions:
1) What are peoples' thoughts on the MBT for a home defense...
Hey guys, I just ordered a both a holosun hs510c (red dot) and he510c-gr elite (green dot) for use on my AR and planned to return whichever I liked less. However, now I have been reading about the hs507c, and am wondering if I made a mistake. It seems to be smaller and lighter than the ones I...
Thanks for the replies everyone, I actually ended up buying a marlin 795 today, picked it up from Dick's for 130. The 10/22 seems like a nice gun but considering that I really don't want to upgrade it at all and was looking for the best value out of the box, I thought the Marlin seemed like a...
I'm looking for the best value .22 I can get, I don't think I'll be modifying it much besides an inexpensive scope. I'm a student and don't have a ton of money right now so I'd like to spend as little as possible for a decent starter rifle. I've been looking at the marlin model 60 or 795, they...
I was doing some volunteer work on the west side of Indy today and planned on going to the range (Pop Guns) on the way back. Since I've heard so many bad things about Don's I didn't know exactly where it was, but ended up driving right by it. I actually pulled off the road to turn around since I...
Lol I think I've gotten more comments on my clothing than my question  Give me a break I'm 21, I don't wear my jeans up to my belly button quite yet ;)
Anyway I am leaning towards the MTAC. Hopefully it won't give me any problems, apparently they have good customer service so hopefully...
LOL! This comment cracked me up. I'm far from metro but either way that was funny :D Polo's generally aren't too tight but some of my t-shirts fit a bit more snugly, that's why I was concerned about printing
Posted this on glocktalk but thought i'd get some input from INGOers as well :ingo:
Hey guys, I have a glock 19 but don't yet have a good carry holster. I have heard that the supertuck and mtac are good, so I'm kind of looking at those two, but would be open to other options.
Anyway, I'm...
Thank you, this is VERY helpful! I've been looking for this type of info :yesway:
Also thank you to those who congratulated me on med school, I'm very excited (and nervous).
So it sounds like Indy is pretty safe in general. That's good to know. I think I generally use pretty good judgment...
I'm getting ready to graduate from college in May and will be starting medical school in the fall. I'm attending IU school of medicine in Indy, and will be getting an apartment in the city (not sure exactly where yet) sometime before school starts. I have a glock 19 and plan to apply for my ltch...
That is helpful, thanks. I was wondering if I could apply up here since it'd be easier and I have class during the week, but taking a trip home for a day isn't too big of a deal
