Thanks for reply and suggestions. I was looking for some feedback. Good idea on bullet catcher. I’ll be somewhere between 120-150 ft. Good to hear works for you.

Start of one of items on my bucket list, adding a range to the farm to safely shoot.
Earth embankment is approximately 7 Ft high and 12 ft thick - mostly clay. Work in progress, and sure won’t rival Demolition Ranch.

Picking up a Beretta 96G Compact Police Special (Never Issued) tonight after winning bid on Gunbroker. Considering sending off to Langdon Tactical to convert to 96 Compact LTT Elite.

I had most of my pistols and revolvers stolen back in 2007 - except for a S&W 19-4 kept by the bed they overlooked. Now in my early 60s and still working, have had time (and money)to seriously get back into shooting and rebuilding collection. Never had shot striker fired pistols only DA...
I recently received a Marlin XT-22 through my father-in-law’s estate. He owned probably 75 rifles, shotguns, and handguns (including two WWII era Colt 1911s) when he passed, and sure they’re with my brother-in-law. Didn’t know anything about this XT other than they retailed for about $300...
Understand. I got caught up in Glocks and they are 100% reliable - fantastic pistols; but over last couple of years been transitioning to Beretta hammer fired DA/SA. Probably my age (62) and growing up on DA/SA revolvers. Last Glock I let go was the Glock 45, and now kind of wishing I’d hung on...
It’s really easy to get drawn into these ‘latest greatest only carry option’ discussions. Think problem is the proliferation of manufacturers and how quick they can roll out new models and tweak old models. Case in point, Beretta. I rotate between Px4 Compact Carry and APX Carry. Perfectly happy...
Picked up my second one last night, a .30-06 to go with my .300Win Mag. Any other SHR or STR owners? I’m looking for a hardwood stock.

Go for an iconic Beretta 92. Seems like just yesterday Army adopted. I’m few years away from retirement and have promised myself the 92X Performance. Good luck in retirement!

Picked up a well used LE trade-in with nicks and dings about a month ago online. Fell in love with the trigger and decided to put some money into it. Shop said it was pretty nasty inside when they tore it apart but otherwise in pretty good shape. I just picked up this morning and looks like...
Think you are on to something. The APX and Px4 are fine examples. Both are excellent family of pistols but think many who had experience with the poorly maintained M9s, don’t give them a second thought.

Thanks. Picked up a police trade-in Px4 full size .40S&W Own a Px4 in .45 and the Landgon Tactical 9mm. The Px4 is an excellent pistol. The police trade-in slide is little beat up and kicking around idea of having it cerakoted to match the Langdon. Not sure if going to convert to decocker...
Over past year have added Px4 .40, Px4 .45, Px4 Compact Carry, and Px4 Subcompact. Recently picked up a 96D police trade-in for project gun and to go with my M9. Trigger is excellent and far better than what people were telling me it’d be. It’s currently at shop being cerakoted and hoping to...
Thanks for sharing. I picked up a 96D Cemturion police trade-in last week in an auction for project gun. I was shocked by the DAO trigger! Nice with a crisp reset. In fact so impressed not doing anything to trigger. Dropped off to a shop this week for a Cerakote job. Quite a bit of dings...
