Appreciate it, but I already said shooting auto was stupid didn't need nor ask for a lesson. I asked if anyone thought that it might affect accuracy at that close a range, which I couldn't believe 15 foot would be that far off. Also asked if anyone knew availability for .32 SW short. But I...
Few questions. I bought a cheap old saturday night special. "Terrier One" chrome plated, black plastic handle revolver. Not sure the year but looked in great shape, no cracks or pitting so figured it'd be safe. All I had was .32 auto to shoot. Went to the range and even at 10ft, this thing was...
SOLVED! - NO ROLL PIN! Thanks everyone. I looked with a flashlight yesterday and I thought it was a black roll pin in there, plus I couldn't see through the hole. After soaking the end assembly overnight in bore cleaner, I cleaned it off and the tube pulled right out with a slight tug. It had...
OKAY I took the gas block off and yes there is a roll pin, HOWEVER I blow into the end of the tube and it doesn't go through! Now wonder all around the hole and even inside the block/brace there is dirt and powder residue.
Shouldn't it fairly easily blow through like a straw? I cant blow...
problem?
Have I found my problem? Here are some pics, its very dirty all around the gas pipe where it leaves the block/barrel. Now what? Simply replace the gas block/line?
Appreciate it. I hear what you're saying about the pin, but if the pin was too high wouldn't it lock when I pull it back manually as well? I can pull the bcg back into the buffer no issues.
So the BCG didn't move at all when a shot was fired, so nothing at all coming out the ejection side. I had the camera only on that side to see if it moved at all, and it didn't, however it seems smoke came out the other side? I will post pictures today of the gas block/connection to the barrel...
Yes it moves well and free. BCG (again I tried 2 different BCG's) they eject fine and pull in the next round fine. I just have to pull it back myself. Dont feel "stuck" at all.
So I'm at a loss. I have an AR15 with a Wylde SS 16" barrel. It was purchased at a gun show already assembled to an upper (not sure the brand but I'm sure generic.)
First time out shot some cheap wolf steel .223 ammo, and it cycled 1 shot, then jammed every round. Figured maybe steel was as bad...
