I agree that a 77/22 is a great rimfire, but a used Kimber SVT stainless fluted heavy barrel with a great stock 7-800.00, is buy far a more accurate and dependable rifle, but I know that is only my opinion, and Ruger is also very dependable.

Blazer LRS2 with all the goodies in .300wm, 8-25 leupold mil-dot with target knobs and a really good suppressor. I have been thinking about this for some time
I can see the interest in the 870's, but a tube fed marlin or remington .22 will kill about anything a shotgun will, and 20000 rounds will last a very long time and take up a very small space. No mag to lose, and not as loud, so not to be zoned in on as easily.
I have had nothing but problems with the D&R shooting range in Mongo IN. Everytime you go, there is an officer sneaking up behind you to make sure your signed in ,have a carry permit and pretty much eyeball everything you have in your vehicle and on your person. Always a power trip with those...
Hello I love the marlin with the new hornady leverlution nylon tipped ammo, a little pricey though. For a deer gun I use an h&r heavy barreled single shot .357. Theres little recoil and my 12 yr old loves it
