I think the doe limit is too high in some counties also. Madison county doesn't need a 8 doe limit. I69 cuts right through the county and I think they want to cut down on deer car collisions. I usually see plenty of does all season, but not this year. I don't no if people are taking advantage of...
It's really not that difficult especially with a single stage press because you can only do one thing at a time. Check out you tube and see if there are any videos on there. I bought a Lee anniversary kit and started with 223's and now have about 10 different sets of dies for other calibers now.
I know a gun shop owner who shot about 10 rounds of .308 through a 30-06 before he figured out what was wrong. The brass was straight walled when they came out.
All the hunters I know will look for a deer as hard as they can until the trail runs out or property lines are about to be crossed and the owners don't allow hunting. I hate to lose a deer but would rather not be caught trespassing with a loaded gun.
