Really?? I'm not sure about this, the only restrictions I remember seeing involved use within motor vehicles.
I'm a ham..I have an antenna mounted on my Cavalier that is slightly taller than the original AM/FM antenna, and a permanently installed mobile rig, and I have never been questioned...
Wisconsin is OC only, but it's pretty clear their status quo is fairly anti-gun, at least in Milwaukee ;)
I would prefer to CC, and if they said I couldn't I'd be sort of annoyed but might CC anyway. If you're truly CCing than they wouldn't know, and if they find out than i guess you're open...
There's a lot of empty space under the hood of the Bel Air that doesn't anything to cushion the impact.
Here's an article that talks about it some more. I'm somewhat surprised that there isn't more of a weight difference between the two cars..
Sad to watch :(
Here's my boring, plain-jane 100%-stock Bushmaster M4A3 type Patrolman's Carbine:
I've been extremely happy with it so far. I hope to get a sight soon.
Though I've carried many places, I don't think it's worth tempting expulsion by carrying on Purdue grounds as a student. I would imagine that a nonzero number of Purdue students/faculty do carry on campus, but I'm not one of them.
Needless to say, if somebody pulls a gun on me on campus I'll...
Congrats...I bought one about 3 months ago as well...I've put 50 rounds of the cheapo Blazer Brass through it and it worked perfectly. I was slightly nervous at first because some of the clowns in the gun store said that .40 S&W "wasn't fun to shoot" because it was "too snappy," but I beg to...
I bet if the United States banned gun production altogether, these Mexican drug cartel thugs wouldn't be able to find any weapons
It's kind of funny that these sorts of articles never fail to mention the big bad evil "gun lobby," like it's a bunch of evil corporations conspiring to...
This is kind of weird...I'm trying to decide what she's getting at here...It's not like SB12 would affect students differently than faculty as far as the right to carry. Apparently she's referring to the current university policy, and that they need to think about "their rights" when a student...
Except not...Springfield Armory, Inc. was founded in 1974. To me the most annoying thing is not so much the American-made versus foreign parts argument, but the fact that they have **absolutely no connection** to the REAL Springfield Armory in Massachusetts.
:patriot:
I think that the issue is that the university can effectively prevent you from carrying through the threat of expulsion or equally serious disciplinary action. SB12 would prevent them from doing this. As it stands now a law-abiding, LTCH-holding student could still carry, get caught, get...
I just bought the "Mr. Softy" from High Noon for my .40 PPS. It's supposed to get here Thursday according to UPS...I'll let you know what I think of it when it gets here..
