I just went there tonight. My wife's friend is dating the guy (Neil). He seemed like a nice guy. I didn't ask him about this though. Figured it might be a touchy subject. Plus we got in for free and cut through the line. :):
No kidding. I read about that months ago on the LCP forum and thought...good for them. I'm glad I bought the CT for my LCP in case anything ever goes wrong with mine I'm covered.
I wear my "stay back 100m or you will be shot" t-shirt all the time and I've never had a negative comment (except from the wife, she doesn't count) on it. The wife just thinks I wear it TOO much.
At another "enthusiast" site I used to frequent this same issue came up. They made a "back door" link for the paying adults (supporters) that was not viewable by just anyone (new users, no registered users, etc.). Any plans for this type of setup here?
I'm not sure what everyone means when they say their hands hurt after firing the LCP? Mine was a little tender in the middle of my palm from gripping it tight but no more than say if I went bowling for about 5-6 games and was using a 15# bowling ball.
Also, a good site to check out for LCP...
I believe so...mine is a 2nd gen one. Aside from needing a little polishing on the feed ramp it worked great! The CT laser is a MUST though due to the small sights.
Great for concealment if that's what you are looking for. I carry mine wayyy more than my XD SC. Shoots great with the laser but I couldn't see squat thru the sites.
True. It does depend on the command for the time you are in, but regardless of that you'll still come away with a security clearance which(if you are smart about it) you can command a decent salary if you have some skill.
If you do go Army, go Intel. They say it's not really the Army...and they are right. Also, when you get out you'll have a clearance which is a guaranteed job (usually higher paying) for most.
