Looking to load for my Garand that i build at the CMP builders class. I have a bunch of 748 i would like to use on 155gr FMJ, but i can't seem to find good data out there. Just a max load. I wanted to keep the pressure lower than it was talking on that max load for the Garand. Thanks
Wish we had more out by us here in South Dakota. i found a merrel one year what barely fit in a little playmate lunch box, but never again. Hmm it was so good
Nice, but i hate to say its somewhat exactly what i despise in hunting. i loved the days of NO pay hunting or leased land etc. just chat with a landowner and all is well. i have lost so many hunitng places over the years to people who come in a pay for it. ahh sorry for the rant
I work with Wildlife and they have done studies that show white pelicans can fly 200ish miles or more to fish and return to a nesting site to feed babies. thats what happens when they find walleye tags from a lake 245miles away in a pile of poo
Turkeys are interesting and if they have been called before and missed yikes, they learn fast. One thing i have seen is the way the light shines off my decoys etc. it can be crazy off the plastic and not be like a real bird. thus they get wise. also they do sometimes have a place to go and...

sorry those little horns are in the way. try to get a better pic. but its a 1980's rem 700 action, Christiansen carbon barrel 26" in 7mm Rem Mag Varminter 3.0 suppressor, bell and carlson stock, with a Vortex PST 6-24 50mm FFp scope on it. Man it shoots. my best is a 3.3in group at 950yrds
thank you for the information. is it possible to look at what i posted with you? I don't want to make a trouble but i did not feel like my posts where tiny off the wall comments to get to 50. I worked hard to contribute and posted where i had knowledge or wanted to be heard. if you feel i...
depends on how the neck is formed out on the brass. longer neck does better to hold off that erosion as well as the geometry of the case shoulders and how it focuses the flame out of the case. But in general yes, more speed from more powder will equal more erosion and well the faster you shoot...
I came into a couple of cheap Mcmillan stocks for rem 700. however they are inlet for Badger M5 bottom metal. I was wondeirng if anyone has used other bottom metal in place of a badger. I like their stuff but the cheap stock gets expensive with a $300 plus bottom metal in it. Thank you
you can check, i have had the motor become disconnected from the weight that is spins under it to make the vibrations. Sometimes is a replace a pin etc toi reconnect some times its a chunk of cast thats gone, at that point maybe but for the price of a new one probably not worth it. What brand...
unless you start running full auto you won't need that heavy barrel at all. not to say they don't make them and heck hey sell plenty but more that you need. Classic Arms usually has some nice m4 contour for around 70
Does anyone have a few fired brass for that 224 Val? I have a 22PDK, and i am sure they are almost the same of close enough to reform them for what i need. Thanks
