Fair question as to why have a loaded pistol in a car gun safe. The reason is I am prohibited to carry at work. I keep the pistol in a pocket holster in the locked gun box to allow for pocket carry immediately upon exiting work. It stays condition 1 so as remain inconspicuous as it is placed...
My teenager is now borrowing my car. I usually keep a loaded pistol locked in a steel pistol safe which is secured to the car seat with a steal cable. Both my wife and I have LTCH. My teen does not know the combination to the in-car safe. Is having the pistol in the car a legal issue for...
Just purchased a Sig 320 Compact from Indy Gun Club for $599. First 200 9m Federal ammo ran flawlessly. I like the trigger much more than my standard G23. The grip for my big paws is what sold me. It came with the medium frame. I added a generic rubber sleeve grip to make it just a bit...

My wife and I both completed IN Gun Safety's Intro to Defensive Pistol. Randy the instructor tailored the individual simulator based course using a laser Cert pistol to both of our skill levels. It was challenging and well worth the investment.
I own two bio and one non. If your hand is the least bit wet, it fails to read. One takes three to four seconds to open if at all. It seems to not read my wife's print well at all. The push button version is a much more reliable option. IMHO.
If you are looking for some interesting discussion on self-defense situations, search American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN) on YouTube. They have a show called Stop The Threat. It features a reenactment of an actual self-defense situation and then "experts" critique the response and offer...
