      Though I don't buy much at Walmart, I have no problem continuing to buy firearms and "routine" ammo there. Remember, they are the country's largest firearms dealer and they still have their roots in the South and in "rural" community... Plus, if I buy a Ruger American Rifle there for $50 less...

      Though I have yet to fire one, I have heard nothing but great things from friends with the base model Remington R-1. Rock Islands are great for the price, but for a couple hundred more bucks, you get an American-made gun and certainly one with noticeably better craftsmanship.

      Greetings to all FYI: If anyone is looking for a great "little shop" I recommend Bare Arms in Noblesville. Great ownership and service. They refuse to raise their prices until their costs increase. Bought p-mags for $25 recently.
