Is Wal-Mart keeping ammo prices down? Are they the single biggest buyer of ammo besides the federal Gov't? I have not noticed a price increase at the wal-mart's
Do you think this will keep the price of ammo from going up to these prices forever?
Haha that's what happens when you post from a phone. It's kinda hard to proofread. I meant playing around up to 100 yards or hunting squirrel. I
Have never actually hunted either so that will be another learning curve
I am basically looking to make a fun plinking rifle. I have never hunted but it would be fun to try it this year and will probably use for that as well.
I am looking for a nice scope for my 10/22. I would like to keep it under 200 and would like to have around 4x zoom.
This is the first scope I have ever bought and i know almost nothing about them. The only thing I have read is to stay away from the BSA scopes.
Thanks for the help
Sorry to bump this but after looking this gun up it appears to be kind of old. The serial # is 233XX and looking at the Ruger's website that serial # was around 1966 if i am reading that right.
If this 10/22 is that old I might have to find another to convert as I only paid 150 dollars for...
Gander is good for me because I don't really care to drive all around town just to save 50 dollars. I see something I want I buy it and usually gander will have it in stock because it is 50 dollars more. Now ammo I usually pick that up at wal-mart
I have no problem with any of those companies selling to NY or other states with bans. If you really wanted to make a statement companies located in those states need to pack up and move.
Yeah that a good looking gun but probably alot more expensive then the 250 dollars i will have wrapped up in mine.
I guess i'm more wondering keeping it factory and just get a scope or getting a kit for around 100 dollars.
I recently picked up a used Ruger 10/22 and have a Archangel kit on backorder from Midway.
I was wondering if anybody has used one of these kits and what they think of them.
How bout some of us don't like to sit on 1000's of rounds. Guns may be a way of life for you and others but for me they are a hobby and nothing more. I want to go to WallyWorld, pick up a couple packs and then go shoot.
So they should sell there stuff at normal prices and watch somebody else sell it for more on Armslist and wait 3 months before they get any more AR stuff to sell.
I really don't care how much they raised the prices on their products because at the end of the day they will sell it and it is a personal choice for people to buy those things. What I have a problem with is if they cancel back orders and sell them for a higher price that is when I start tohave...
I agree. For me guns are nothing but a hobby and when it takes me more then one stop to find a simple round to shoot it makes my hobby far less enjoyable
