i bolted my browning to the garage floor but when I lifted it off the skid I put a layer of ice and water shield and layer of felt paper under it. I also put silicone sealer in the bolt holes for concrete anchors so moisture wouldn't come up into safe. I've been using the same golden rod since...

i think they were both made by pic (precise international cutlery) in germany for import to the u.s.a. top one is a copy of a puma bowie knife and the bottom is a copy of the grohmann canadian belt knife. if i was to guess they were made in the late 60's to early 70's. i think both are good...

lobster knives use a fragile single spring in the middle of the knife for all the blades. a lobster pen knife always has its pivot pins set of to the sides of the long axis of the knife-hence the resemblance of its pivoting blades to the waving claws of a lobster.
i have been lookingat the same 80% from tortort for my remaining kits myself. i think the specs they give you would be fine for finishing them up. probably easier and look better than the rewelds i did in the past...
i know my serviceberry (juneberry) trees are ready for picking. i about made myself sick eating them and the ripe mulberries when i was supposed to be mowing. maybe the tree was a locust tree if they were big thorns???
cleaned out the freezer and found some strawberry ice cream that was iffy so put it in the live trap. woke up this morning to a great biggun that was pissed off and tried to eat the front site off my 10-22. i have had very good luck with electric fence wire around my corn, the birds not so much.
