I probably was anticipating the shot when using 9mm or 45acp but have been using my G44, 22lr. No recoil there. I do have small hands and the grip can be a challenge, mostly on my revolvers.
Thanks for the rotation idea, I will try that on the next range visit. Assuming you mean rotating down...
Right handed shooter, hitting high and right. Seems like I am healing the pistol but dry firing is not helping. Any training techniques that might help? Thanks
Thanks for the replies. Actually the carbide collar came out of the die and stuck on the casing. The casing gauged okay but sure is stuck. I just ordered a Lee die from Midway, lik doing business there. Thanks again
Thanks to all for the feedback. I use bullets with no cannelure on my Dillon 550B and will set the die for a light crimp. I posted this because some bullet manufacturers were warning about plating separation, mainly due to a hot load or too tight a crimp.
Just loading for target practice and using a lighter load, I was wondering if others have done this. Don’t crimp the casing, make it snug only. Any advice is appreciated and thanks.
In a class it was said that you should carry hollow points. The reasoning is that in a justified shooting, you can be held liable for harm caused by a bullet that travels beyond the initial target. Comments?
