I'm thinking about getting an AR style pistol, either 9mm, or 300AAC blackout. The use would be for home/individual protection. I already have several 9mm weapons, so the common ammo is readily available to me. I'm not sure why I'm considering a 300AAC blackout version. I don't have any...
You seem to be pretty impressed/pleased with the PSA Dagger.
I was looking at that and I had a few questions that you may be able to answer.
I went to the range yesterday with my Bersa .380 (EDC) and a Springfield XD9. I never compared them before yesterday. I'm ready to have the XD9 as EDC...
Does anyone on here have a Hatsan DF-12 semi-auto shotgun? It is basically like an AR15, but 12ga. It comes with 5-round mags. I want 10-round mags. You can't find them anywhere. A suggested substitue is the MKA1919. They fit, but they are tight. Tight enough that I have to really pull...
I agree with most of the above: CCI is my go-to .22 ammunition. That being said, I also have an AR-7. At the time (years ago), a review article said that Aguilar worked the best in the AR-7. So, I have only used Aguilar in my AR-7, and haven't had any problems.
Same with me. Ammo seems to be coming down, but no primers. This will be my first attempt at trying it on my own. So, I need small pistol primers ASAP! I have everything else.
OK. For the sake of argument, I build a gun from an 80%. I die. I would like my children to be able to take posession of the gun. What has to happen? Will a serial number help the situation?
I have a second 80% lower that I would like to use for a build. (I say second because the last time I heard, nobody cares about the first build. But if you do more than one, ATF gets interested if there aren't S/Ns.)
Can someone recommend someone (or a company) in central Indiana that can...
I haven't bought any for over a year. But, I bought from Provident Metals in Texas. They're easy to order from, and you don't have to use a credit card.
Mgderf,
THANK YOU!!!
I haven't had a chance to get to the range before today. But, I gave the ejector a slight twist to the right, and tried it out. NO FAILURES!!! Thank you!
I built an AR9 using an upper from Daytona tactical, and an 80% lower from them.
I have built an AR10 with pieces from PSA, and it works great.
I am having a problem with the AR9. It will only cycle through 2 or 3 rounds before failing to eject. It initially worked much better. So, I am...
I finished an 80% lower, added the lower parts kit to finish it, and added a 9mm complete upper.
When it fires, it is pretty decent. But, ~ 4-8 rounds out of a 31 round magazine will fail to cycle properly. That is, a round will fire, but then it will fail to completely eject the spent...
This is the first time I have seen this topic, but it looks VERY useful. Thank you.
I will have to be very careful giving this a try. I'm not allergic to much. But, rabbits really do me in.
Even more important, they need to implement some way to back out a mistaken entry, because mistakes do happen. With their lazy-as methods, once someone is put on the NICS list (or whatever), they are SOL indefinitely.
Another slow drip from CBS 4 tonight about a Muncie guy (convicted felon) who got a gun and shot someone. The showed selected pieces of quotes from various sources to support their point of view. Like Dave Bursten of the Indiana State Police. The only thing that they recorded from him was...
WTTV 4 covered a story tonight about the toddler that was shot and killed on the east side with a handgun a week or two ago. They made a big point about AR15s found in the suspect's car, and that ANYBODY can travel around with an AR in their possession. They also made a big deal out of a...
