Not hard at all…the electronics and programming would be more of a challenge than making the initiator with an extra surprise. If you see my name, that’s what I do, military EOD. Been there, done that, have the t-shirt, retirement check and still have 10 fingers. [emoji1588][emoji1588]
Just as a FYI, Richard Reid’s problem was the time fuse he used had a black power core. Being in his shoes, on his feet, interrogated by French police, for a long time, allowed the black powder to absorb moisture. Add that most time fuse is not easy to light (not like firework fuse) unless you...
Not unstable at all. It’s very stable, doesn’t react with most metals, non-hydroscopic and takes a lot to get it to detonate.
PETN would be a great choice as it is naturally a powder and can be “pressed” into a solid…kinda like how acetylsalicylic acid (a powder) is pressed into a tablet...
PETN is very stable and has a high melting and decomposition tempature. I “HIGHLY” doubt the overheated battery set it off. If I was to swag it, they installed a blasting cap that had extra room for a small PETN charge added to it….like an extra powerful cap. [emoji1305]
Seems Hezbollah didn’t learn from PLO mistakes…look up how Shin Bet got rid of Yahya Ayyash…a small shaped charge inside an old 90s brick phone. I’ve seen a few aftermath pictures of one sitting on a bedroom dresser…not the battery. [emoji23][emoji23]
I had a Japanese rifle with what appeared to have a bullet/frag entrance hole in the stock. I took it into work and X-rayed it…but nothing was in it. Here is a picture. [emoji41]
Looking for a decent Swedish M96 without breaking the bank. Prefer it to be in original condition without a sanded/refinished stock. If you’re reading this, I’m still looking and will remove the post once I’ve found one.
Thanks for looking.
Recently completed a deal with @Reale1741. Great communication, worked with me due to a busy schedule. Items were as described, zero complaints and would do business with him again. [emoji1303]
Adding another holster for a Beretta 92 or 98. OWB, belt loops with trigger finger release…say $25. Again, if you can find it cheaper, let’s deal.
Bonus, will ship any of these holsters on your dime.
