Anybody know of a good place to get these installed locally? I checked with Plainfield Shooting Supplies and they suggested sending the slide in. I'll do that if it's my only option, but thought I'd check with you guys first.
Thanks!
I would check and make sure your fans are kicking on like Bill suggests. Had the same problem and that was it. Plus keep an eye on your engine temp, mine would overheat if I was in a lot of stop and go traffic under these conditions.
I'm certainly haven't studied all there is to know on this subject and don't claim to have the answers. But one thing I think we can agree on - US consumers are the ones losing.
I agree with this concept and it's what I believe in. Unfortunately, I'm somewhat skeptical they would do it. Oil has too much influence at the top. Ideally consumers should be the motivator which drives manufacturer innovation. And right now it's all out of whack. Just my :twocents:
While I'm not sure how I feel about the new standard and I'll leave my feelings of Obama aside. Part of me wonders how much better gas mileage can be had when automakers are forced to engineer it.

Understood and makes sense - just donated for Site Supporter. I have a tendancy to be a lurker and only contribute when I provide useful info, so up front I think contributing is the best way to show I'm here for the community. And I'll work on coming out of my cage a little more often :)
I see the point on the classifieds, I didnt join for that but quickly got interested with a few things. It's unfortunate a post count is a measure of who to do business with - but i guess there's nothing else good to go on.
Road gator got me on the way back from Texas (tire re-tread). Nothign bad, just some hood damage mainly. I'm using Diamond based on the rep from this site - thx!
15 posts before you can PM?
I'm new to the site and really enjoying it. I wanted to PM my interest in a hand gun in the trader section and I can't PM (15 posts required) or reply to the post (50 posts for that). Why are these limits imposed? Feels like it would influence newbs to spam...
