      Intruder gave me the heebie geebies

      We have three cats on roving spider patrol 24/7 - anything that moves in our house is fair game. What's interesting is watching the cats working together to corral and kill any and all intruders - be they furry, or with an exoskeleton .....

      22 bolt action rifle at Allamuchy Scout Reservation ( LBJ was in the White House then, so no problems with shooting ! )

      Remington 870 Police - pretty beat up when I got it. Stripped the wood, refinished with tung oil, cleaned up the reciever/barrel and went the matte black Duracoat route. For $225 and several enjoyable afternoons, it's a sweet weapon !

      I have a Ruger 10/22 Magnum with a Sightron 3-9 scope, sighted in at 100 yards with my primary round. Tagging groundhogs is what that rifle was made for !

      An original Colt SAA that went for $125.00 back in the mid-70's ( yes, I was much younger, and not too smart about SAA Colts) Although the money did go towards buying a 70's series 1911 ..........

      Stschil, I'm liking your avatar ! When I lived in RI, there was great saltwater fishing , using either a surf rod or a fly rod in the salt. Now, living in NW Maryland, I have to scale down to trout .........

      I have no plastic guns, so I can only speak to the leather holsters, my favorites being the US made Bianchi 5BHL for revolvers, and the 5L for auto's. I have several of each that I bought in the seventies, and still work very well - and nothing looks as nice as a leather holster. That's my...

      No, I'm not from Indianna, but I am a gun owner (even prior to my military service back when Admiral Zumwalt was CNO). How did I find this site ? I've been looking for a Remington 870 turkey barrel, and was linked to this site........only 14 more posts, and I can respond to the seller !
