      Lil something for the Mrs...

The best thing you can do in my opinion is to get as many guns in her hands as you can before buying something. Feel, is one of the most important things she should be looking for. If its not comfortable, she won't want it in her hand. Once I convinced the Mrs. to get an EDC, she was sure she...

      REI Castleton

Stopped in yesterday afternoon. As I was driving past the front of the store, in search of a parking spot, I noticed a gentleman making his way into REI, OC what appeared to be a 1911. Once I got into the store, I didn't hear or see anyone make a fuss about it. The store is very nice. Prices...

      Crickett 22

We got our 8yr old daughter a Rossi Youth .22/410 combo for Christmas. (Pink, of course) She loves it. We borrowed a cricket from a friend before Christmas, and she liked it too. But, for the $ at the time the Rossi was a better deal, and easier for her to load.

So I was looking around for a new scout scope...

It would be a bit top heavy, but being able to take lasagna to the range or the woods is a fair trade off!

And my oldest daughter got a Rossi .22\410 combo, (Pink of course!) My youngest daughter was overjoyed with a...

      22 bolt action

Both of my sons have savage mark II's. They are great, and very accurate right out of the box. Neither have had an issue with them.

      State of the world!

Its unfortunate, but I see this sort of thing every shift. We had a guy stop in front of our fire station with a flat tire. Grown a** man. He didn't have the first clue how to change a tire. I understand everybody has strengths and weaknesses, but a simple tire change is something everyone...

      Anyone live near Pendleton???

We moved here about 2 years ago. My wife grew up here. We wanted the kiddos to grow up closer to family. Schools are top notch. In our experience, most of our neighbors keep to themselves. Very quiet. Of course, we have 4 kids.......so we might be the "loud ones"! As far as the prisons go...

      Zionsville PD Officer Down

All of the injuries are to his left side. 2 breaks in his left femur. He has a rod in said femur, but no cast. Dr wants him up and about ASAP. He's already been up on it a time or two with a walker. Modern medicine is a wonderful thing! He's really fuzzy on details of the accident. He...

On a much lighter note: strawberries.......

Like Indy Guy said, farmers markets are great place to ask\buy them, along with alot of other produce. We're (starting this summer) canning for our family, and will be buying locally until our garden starts producing.

      S&W M&P vs. Springfield XDM

I haven't read through the thread, but, I own\carry a XD40 sub-compact. My wife owns\carries a M&P40 compact. Both are awesome shooters. What it boils down to is feel. I don't like the trigger on hers, she doesn't like the grip on mine. If it feels right, its the right gun.
