      Duplicate Handgun License

Mgderf, I have to ask... did you only do an address change or did you check the box for address change and duplicate hard copy? For address only, you wouldn't have gotten charged. For a duplicate card with the change you would've paid. If it was change only, they don't send you anything but...

Things that go bang in the night

I have to agree on the dog points. A good early alert. Combined with good clearing on your part, makes a hell of a team.

      Cover of the song "Cups"

I must admit I like the original video mainly just to look at Anna Kendrick. But this one takes it for sure. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Do you stipple your polymer pistols?

I just carry my Glocks as is. Don't matter much to me really one way or the other, although the 42 could use a little extra when it comes to better grip

      1905 Smith & Wesson .38 special

OP- try writing S&W with the serial number. They'll send you all the info they have on it. Dates, history, repairs, etc. You might look tho, I think there is a small fee.

It's sad the way they dispose of these guns now. Thanks for the share.

      LCP

I like the concealability. I have big hands so it does make the grip a bit awkward. I just bought a Glock 42 which fits better in my hands and makes the LCP feel a little chinsy and is just as concealable. Also one of my LCP magazines randomly fell apart as I ejected it from the gun. Don't...

What's your favorite handgun for under $400?

I recently picked up my new Glock 42 on sale for $399 at Plainfield Shooting Supplies. I may have snuck in on this under 400 thread on a technicality but thats my answer haha! But even regular price, I think he only asks about $409 (when he has them in stock) so close enough.

      Favorite Glock?

I will have to go with my G30. Although I did just pick myself up a G42. Need to get it out for a test drive before i can really weigh in on it.

      Marlin 444p Value?

Got an offer from a coworker whos trying to sell his Marlin 444p. He wants $400 for it and is pretty set on that price. I blue booked it and I think hes asking a little much but my blue book is a couple years old. Any ideas on a fair price for this gun? How easy is .444 ammo to find. Or...

      Pocket Wheelgun Advice

I appreciate everyone's responses. 642 seems to be a popular choice. I also wonder if anyone has any experience or opinions on the Bodyguard?

      Pocket Wheelgun Advice

Looking to get into the hammerless revolver game as a back-up gun. Would carry mostly in the pocket or may eventually try to venture towards an ankle piece. I am a fan of Smith and Wesson and would prefer to stick there. Any pros/ cons, advice or knowledge of the different models would be...

Stoeger Coach Gun. Yes or No?

I have a Mossey 500 field/ deer combo for hunting. Im looking at the Stoeger more for the fun of the shoot. Maybe keep it by the bed for the quick defense grab. But mostly because Im a fan of the old west look in a gun that isnt going to be my daily carry but I still want to have fun with.

Ideas For A Carry Wheel Gun

Slim pickings at the gun store this weekend but I did get to handle a SW 629. It felt good in my hands for sure. I like the look as well. Any opinions relating to the 629? 4 inch barrel. Although they did have a 5 inch which surprised me since SW usually jumps from 4" to 6". At least in...
