can't shim it , there aren't any rings, and i'm hesitant about raising it .. it is already pretty high (using my hand as a cheek rest get eye level) but if i do get some risers i still have the issue of it shooting to the left.

So I was at the range on Sunday shooting my ak-47 and my brass was flying 10 feet to the right of me and hitting the guy on the next bench. Well lets just say he got a little irritated. I was wondering if anyone makes a dust cover that deflects the brass down instead of 10 feet in the air.
everyone keep a look out for 7.62x39 yugo surplus at your local gun stores. I just picked up 1120 rounds for $229 after tax (about 20 cents a round) ... oh did i mention they have all brass casings and are on stripper clips. a much more accurate alternative to wolf

a matching number mosin just means they re-printed the serial on them, they all got referbished, gaged and and sighted after the the war and thrown in an arms room. Thats how they sat till it shipped to your local gun store ;) ..
