I have a Lee Pro 1000 I bought, with the intention of setting it up for 45acp. Box has never been opened, as seen in the picture. I've also got a set of RCBS 45ACP BNIB & Lee Pro Shell Carrier #2, I can sell seperate.
I know these are HOT items. Hopefully I don't get swamped with e-mails...
For me ... it's the defining symbol of a non-classic revolver. It's not ugly, I don't think they've ever failed ... honestly, I don't think anyone has ever turned the lock "on".
It kind of like P&R Smith's bringing a premium, then people want non-MIM Smith's, then non-IL Smith's. Function...

For anybody interested, this wasn't a profit making venture ... but I was able to get the pins I wanted for much less, and share the savings with others.
PelletsLLC was great to deal with ... Straight up, $6/lb (no quantity discounts), and $16 shipping...
2 gone (pending funds), 2 more to go!
I did want to answer Indy's questions though:
1. 5# is about the size of a USPS Small Flat Rate box. These are definitely not for vibratory tumblers, and are used on rotary tumblers ONLY. The stainless pins I've read about are all "wet" tumbling ... 5#...
Since my last thread got closed, I'll try this again.
Pellets LLC .040x.265" stainless tumbling pins. Exactly as seen here:
Brass Cleaning Media SS Media 5 lb bag
Stainless Tumbling Media 5lbs
I decided to go directly to the distributor, and save all of us some money. They only ship in 25#...
I guess I forgot to mention ... yes, these are the pins that are becoming popular. PelletLLC used to sell 5# packages, and now has a minimum quantity of 25#.
Stainless Pins:
.040"x.265"
Hoping I can get 4 people to buy in. Midway wants $44 + $13 ship. Split 5 ways, I think we're looking at...
I've been reading about SS media tumbling now a little bit, and am very impressed. Seems people used to be able to purchase direct from manufacturer, at 5# lots ... but now is a minimum 25# lot @ $6/lb. I think I saw for $16 shipping on 25#?
I'd be interested in splitting up (I'd take 5#)...
Sorry, I don't know if these are in short supply again, or something.?
I know I just bought 500 last night in Connersville (Abernathy's) ... and he looked to have plenty left if you needed more.
Thanks, Neal

I always love this question ... and think this answer puts in perfect perspective:
20yrs ago, all hogs that we butchered on the farm, were simply shot with a 22LR! They ALL are big enough to kill.
BTW ... that's also a good lesson for your kido's. Just because lil' Johnny doesn't shoot the...
Anybody willing to help a novice? I've read up on most of the rules at Brookville ... primarily sign in, sign out, etc.
I've walked a bunch of the land over the summer, but haven't found much ... Any hints on general "areas"?
Also, how do you tell public from private land? I never found any...
