That might work if what I am after was still being made today, but unfortunately I doubt that there are many good deals on M39s out there. Thanks for the advice though! Thank you for your time. -Ben
Howdy Y'all. Fairly off topic question, but does anyone know where I can find some whole ghost peppers (bhut jolokia) in the Carmel or northside areas? Thank you for your time. -Ben
I don't know if this is allowed, but can anyone get any panorama shots of the floor? I want to go, but I live about an hour and a half away and want to know if it would be worth it. Thank you for your time. -Ben
Sounds awesome, now we just need to get one on the books! Who is usually in charge of these things? It might be wise to PM him or her. Thank you for your time. -Ben
Currently I was looking to get a .223 AI barrel for my TC encore, and possibly one for my Savage model 12. Match Grade Machine allows you to send in a dummy round to have the chamber cut (reamed?) to its precise dimensions, so I figured that I might as well try to reload a few dummy rounds in my...
Howdy y'all. Sorry for my cheapness, but I was wondering if Classic Firearms ever gives out promo codes for use across their full website. I want to pull the trigger on a new rifle and was just wondering if there was any way to lessen the pain on my wallet. I'm a first time buyer, so I was...
Howdy Y'all. I've recently gotten into getting nice milsurps because they are well made and fun to shoot. I've been on the lookout for a good condition k31 for a while but the supply seems to be dwindling. I am looking for one with a decent bore and smooth action. I am willing to look at...
I'd love to join in for my first AK build if you guys schedule another build party. Is there anything specific you need for your first time building? (I was thinking of building an ak-74 or an rpk-74, though I wish they made Dragunov SVD reproduction kits) Are there any plans to put another one...
My apologies for not being more specific. I currently own .223 Ackley Improved dies and materials. If I load up a primerless and gunpowderless case using MY dies and bullets then they will be sized to my equipment. I currently have plenty of .223 brass, but putting that into .223 AI dies...
Howdy Y'all. I know I'm kinda on the line of the classifieds here, but I figured people might be more receptive in the reloading subforum. I'm going to get a few .223 AI barrels made for my rifles, bit I ran into a problem. If I want to have a barrel sized to a dummy round I need to have a round...
There's just something about those early 1900's revolvers that makes me want to pick up a trenchcoat, fedora, and some cigars so I can relive the good 'ol days.
Nice article, and the book would certainly help get an idea of what's out there and what you should be willing to pay. I'll definitely look into it. My only regret with buying books like that is that my eyes wood widen and my wallet would shrink with fear. ;)
Yeah. I don't exactly know too much about the CMP, their supply, or what to look for in a Garand. I figured that, if anyone would be able to help me, that it would be the guys working at the store. Call me naive, but sometimes you just can't beat face to face service.
Have you ever considered suppressing one of those sweet lever-guns you've got there. With those short barrels and red dot sights I imagine a suppressor would bring a good bit of fun to the party.
