      Decided to sit outside a few minutes. A few minutes noticed a squirrel about 10-12’ away under blue spruce burying a nut in the mulch and he left. Few minutes later he came around the corner where I was sitting, got within 5’ of me. Froze, did -not-move-a-muscle for a bit, then dropped his nuts...

      G’d Afternoon Gents! The word for today is STEAMY. In a/c all day except a qwik trip around to pick up dog poo. That was enough outdoor activity. I see we have a whopping’ .2” of precip in our forecast. Seed corn harvest is rolling and dry land corn and beans ‘maturing’ rapidly.

      Good morning fellow gun nuts ! 70* & very hazy w/91% humidity…actually appears as if fog is settling in. Wind is calm at the moment but supposed to really pick up to a maximum of 5mph this afternoon so hold onto your hat. Nothing on the schedule today ( again ) except putzing around in a/c.

      I saw a report we ( Indiana ) need an extra $ 2 billion over next 10 years to catch up/fix our roads. On the up side here, the new extension/overpass of CR 1100 to SR 15 in Milford is open…finally... Bought time.
