Will you take the Covid Vaccine?

Strange thing is the Cleveland Clinic also recommends recovered covid peoples to still get the vaccine.

      Lawn mowers

The one in the picture I posted is their standard blade, the mulch blade is lower lift. I might try putting the standard blades back on with the mulching baffles to see if it cuts any better. Like I said it cuts good without the mulch kit but I like having having the mulch kit to get rid of...

      Lawn mowers

I think the 14.5" will be too short and leave a mohawk. I'll measure the next time I clean out the deck.

      Lawn mowers

Here's a pic of the stock blades. Also only 2.25" wide. They seem to be a unicorn.

      Lawn mowers

Don't see one listed on their site either. It's 14 7/8 length with 5/8" center hole. Oregon has a 15" that would likely work but the center hole is 1/2".

      Lawn mowers

My Gravely ZTX42 cuts good as long as I don't have the mulch kit on. With the mulch kit on it will only cut good for a couple mows then I have to clean the deck out, even mowing dry grass. I've never had a mulch kit trap so much grass. I think if I could find Gator mulch blades it would help...

Indiana companies requiring covid19 vaccination for employment

Do these online petitions ever amount to anything? My wife filed for an exemption at IU health due to a neurological issue that was caused by the flu vaccine a few years ago. A few years ago they gave her a lifetime flu shot exemption but she was rejected on the covid exemption. I guess they...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

I didn't get a chance to see the pontiac. Bummer it now says sold, really want to know what it sold for. The only times I ended going past there was before they were open and I didn't see it sitting outside. Kids sports and such keeps a person too busy sometimes. For some reason I was really...

      Brownsburg Shooting (again…)

According to someone that I know that was there. A fight started on the basketball courts. A guy got beat up, went to get friends came back and the other person in the fight got shot. Of course second had info... Regardless this pisses me off to no end as I'm at the baseball fields next to...

Employer to require COVID-19 Vaccine by Aug 15th.

Yea my wife just got the notice from IU that the vaccine is being mandated. They said she can file for an exemption however the forms are not ready yet....go figure. She already has an exemption from the flu shot because of a bad reaction to it so maybe she'll also get one from this?

Take it for what it's worth Hagerty lists the GT-37 at $21,200 at a concours level car. I drive past M&M body shop a few times a week. I'll be on the look out for it next time I pass by maybe even kick the tires lol!

      Chevy mechanics or any mechanics?

yep unfortunately used prices have gone through the roof. I was eyeballing 2 year old trucks spring of last year, same trucks now are $10k more than they were last spring. Granted my truck is up in value too but not $10k so I've put off any purchase until at least next year.

      Chevy mechanics or any mechanics?

Yep! My last truck, purchased new, had issues every sticking year of owner ship. Usually no big issues but enough that would make you curse at it. I held onto that thing for 10 years. I've had my current truck, bought used, for 6 years and has only had one minor issue....knock on wood! So...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

Sure have, it's a pretty good tool. One of these day I'll find one, only seriously been looking for about a year. There were a couple this time last year I probably should've jumped on but the damn covid got in the way with the wife being laid off work and all. There have been some autos that...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

At least my wife gave me permission but said I have to sale the bird....we'll see about that. The camaro likely sold, it was listed on several pages but now gone. I do have a line on another and I know the owner that has taken immaculate care of it for many years. The only problem is that...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

oh hell, I just noticed in picture#11 there is a wire nut behind the reservoir. Not a good sign. I also noticed the hood gap being off and they didn't even bother to put a rubber bumper on the hood stops. This could be a lip stick on a pig car. We'll see if they communicate very well before...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

Duly noted! As usually prices seem to be crazy high on these, at least peoples asking prices seem just nuts. This is 1st one in awhile that I've seen in the upper 20's and seems decent in the pictures.

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

Nice info. Brad. I'm just looking for a nice weekend toy to cruise around in. Likely add some of my own taste in wheels, suspension and such. I don't care about the A/C but PS and PB would be nice. I'm hoping it as disks in the front. I sent them a message asking for undercarriage pics and...

The Official Hot Rod Thread - Part 4: Burnouts for Distance

This one checks most of the boxes for me and staying at a reasonable price. The wiring by the master cylinder has me a little nervous though and add in why the driver side reverse light is on and no one is in the car. Trying to find the time in the next couple days to take a closer look...

To mask or not to mask....That is the question. Part II

Went to Lowe's yesterday and they did not have a mask sign on the door. So I didn't wear one however I'd bet at least 80+ percent of the people in the store still wore one. Felt kind of odd not having one on. I don't think the masks do much but don't have a problem with stores requiring them...
