Choosing A Handgun Caliber For Every Application

Oh, I know the 10mm CAN be shot well, I’d still like to see some folks shoot their 9mm better.

Choosing A Handgun Caliber For Every Application

I’d like to see video of folks shooting the mm better before they bought a 10mm! ;)

Red dots on handguns are for play (change my mind)

Well said and, I’d like to add: "Most shooters that ‘have a way’ already have a personal best time they are working from and are too set in their ways to change. Holosun: battery back up. ;). I try to buy bulk batteries from Amazon and change them once a year. Most of my RDS have a rating of...

Red dots on handguns are for play (change my mind)

How do you get 15 yards apart on most airplanes? And, I’d say 5-7 yards would be more like it. But, we don’t have to agree.

Red dots on handguns are for play (change my mind)

See, with an RDS, you do the exact same thing ONLY it’s sighted in and without any parallax. And, the shots are well sighted shots. I’ve also been taught “flash sight picture” but one thing I am 100% sure of, it is not designed for precise shots. It’s designed for “tactically accurate” shots...

      Glock innovation

There have been plenty showing up in South Bend. No need to go the extra miles to Chi-town. ;)

Red dots on handguns are for play (change my mind)

Finding the front sight does no good if you don’t find the rear sight though, right? I mean, from all my shooting experience, it always seemed they kinda worked better as a pair.

      Glock innovation

Okay. I think I understand now, thanks for clarifying. The things you stated though are subjective, they depend on the individual. Some folks like Glock triggers just as they are. I don't know anyone that likes their sights though! lol. What pistol do you shoot/carry that you feel is better...

Not picking but asking for clarification: What is the "IT" you are speaking of? I am just hard headed, I guess. Please explain.

      Psa micro dagger / 43x / 48 15 round magazines

Over run SA-15 mags for years. First I’ve heard of problems with them. I’ve not experienced any in either Gen 1 or Gen 2 versions. Have to look these mags up and see what is what…

UNIS GENEX small pistol primers all went bang. These will be on the short list for purchase!

I couldn’t agree more. This fixation on the “safety of the DAO" means nothing if someone isn’t safe first between the ears. The fixation on needing something other than striker fired for pocket carry is silly. If you pocket carry without a holster, regardless of the type of action, your safety...

      Primers

UNIS Genex small pistol primers during loading seemed “normal”. I have mixed range brass. Super mixed. I even have some that has crimped primer pockets. I did not remove the crimp prior to loading. I load on a Dillon XL650 which is notorious for primer system issues. These primers loaded well...

I’ve still got some of them. Never had an issue at all either. I’d buy a bunch more if they become available too!

Well, going through Middlebury this morning and the optics place has this brand. I bought 2,000 @ .0069/primer. Small pistol. He had them all though.

No. The tab on the trigger is the drop safety.

My new Kahr CM9 - First Impressions

The Glock has several safeties. 3 that I can think of: Striker block Trigger safety Double action trigger (The first part of the trigger pull finishes cocking the striker.) If it were me, and I wanted a smooth, small, pocket type pistol, with not too much ammo in the loaded mag, I’d go with the...

This is NOT a bashing! (Bassat: Pun attended) lol This is one reason I’m not a Kahr fan. I’m not a 6-7 shot pocket gun fan either. In my experience, yours may varry: The smaller the pistol, the more potential for problems. Stiffer recoil springs to absorb the recoil because of less slide...

      Sig only carry till 3/31/2024!

Yeah, never had it on the X grip frames but, certainly see your point. Good catch. For now, I moved my thumb over onto my support hand thumb knuckle. The WC grip frames win in every other category for me.
