      What is your EDC caliber?

I cast them myself. They come in at 160gr. It’s a really old mold. Only 2 cavity. Takes forever to cast a bunch!

My Experience so far: 15 Round Magazines for the Glock 43x/48

Thanks for the report. I am not currently carrying my G48 for CCW and I have a BUNCH of SA-15 magazines. I’m interested in these magazines. I like the idea of using the PSA magazines because of the plastic on plastic for the mag catch. The sharp edge of the magazine against any mag catch is...

Beyond Skills: Why Enthusiasm Matters in Pistol Mounted Optic Adoption

How about this: Skill, Speed, Surprise, SAVAGERY of attack I think we are on to something. Give it a few months and it’ll show up on someone’s tacticool training site as the “4S’s of surviving a gunfight”! Just remember though: YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! ;)

I thought of this: "Speed without skill is suicide.”

Beyond Skills: Why Enthusiasm Matters in Pistol Mounted Optic Adoption

Well, all I know from recent shootings here in Indiana, Elisha Dicken said he practiced, regularly. Made 8 out of 10 shots at 40 years. Certainly you’re not suggesting there is no need to practice and train to be efficient? If someone thinks they know how to shoot well, simply because they...

That’s great. I know this, we had an LEO involved shooting in my town a few years ago. They had 1st Gen P320’s in 45ACP. There was a building as the backdrop to it and it was riddled with holes, I can’t remember if anyone was hurt at all in that incident. Better shooting would be a good thing! Lol

What is the most beautiful handgun ever made?

Probably been stated already but, the most beautiful handgun is the one that you carried into a gunfight and then walked home with….. ;)

Beyond Skills: Why Enthusiasm Matters in Pistol Mounted Optic Adoption

How true THAT is! I teethed on a S&W revolver (just kidding), moved to a 1911 (which I now hate, don’t judge me) on to the BHP (which I love) and made the comment in the middle 2000’s, “If it ain’t steel, it ain’t getting my feel”……then, son #2 got hired on at the Sheriff’s Department. They...

I think this can also be seen in USMC rifle qualification scores once the ACOG was adopted. They moved scoring brackets up because scores were increasing across the board, from what I’ve been told. My only question would be this though: Did folks just start getting better scores or did they...

Beyond Skills: Why Enthusiasm Matters in Pistol Mounted Optic Adoption

I need to read the article, and, I will. I can only add my experience to transitioning to a MRDS for CCW. I’ve been a shooter for a long time. I’m 67 now and my eyesight is not what it used to be. I wear glasses with trifocals now and “end of arm focus” is relegated to my trifocal part of my...

      South Bend- good guy +1

A liable suit should follow or at least a public clarification, but, I again refer folks to my previous post……HE AIN’T GONNA DO THAT BECAUSE THAT’S HOW HE REALLY FEELS. Have him call Guy Relford. Guy will straighten him out…..
