Why Glocks? Do You Still Care? - Video by the 1911 Syndicate

I have creedmore on my ignore list. Maybe a few more ought to. If the trigger safety was removed from a Glock, that pistol will still fire. No need to argue with someone that can’t figure that out. I deal with that subject in my signature…..

Why Glocks? Do You Still Care? - Video by the 1911 Syndicate

This video shows how the action works. You can see the ONLY thing the lever on the trigger safety really does is keep the trigger from moving back when dropped.

It is A safety, Glock even says it is BUT, you can disable it and the pistol will still fire. The other two parts of the safe action still work fine. I wouldn’t disable it, but, that’s just me. You do as you want.:cool:

Why Glocks? Do You Still Care? - Video by the 1911 Syndicate

This isn’t 100% accurate but it is understandable. The trigger blade does not need to have another motion to remove it and it really only has one purpose: a drop safety. I carry Glock clones. I don’t carry my 1911 nor my SA-35 much anymore because they DO HAVE a safety that requires an extra...

Anyone have real world experience with the Switch Gun

FOF training a while back, 4 or 5 years at most and I’ll be 68 next month. Just trying to give an age for a frame of reference. I’m 6’2" and 250ish and can do 3 hammer curl sets, 10/50lbs, 10/55lbs and 10/60lbs. 220lb bench press, run on an elliptical, 3 miles in less than 28 minutes. Just...

      What is your EDC caliber?

Somebody on the forum once accused me of "fabricating (lying) that my 45 Colt loads were reaching 1800fps.” I told them at the time I used Linebaugh’s loads and a carbine to achieve them. I completely forgot what John Linebaugh’s shop claimed they got from a Ruger Bisley with a 7 1/2" barrel...

Not everything needs to be settled with a gun. Learn some verbal judo. Learn some physical defense too. https://youtube.com/shorts/EJgP-gcD6ys?si=hyQX8whOTMIHOLdL

      What is your EDC caliber?

I had a Handi-Rifle in 500S&W. I don’t recommend heavy loads in them. Oh, they’ll take it just fine but, you, not so much! Lol

      What is your EDC caliber?

I load a 180gr XTP over the maximum load from the old Lee Reloading manual. I achieve that velocity plus a little from the last batch I made up. This is one of the pistol calibers I carry to the field. I also have some Linebaugh 45 Colt loads I put in my Ruger Blackhawk. I send a 260gr LRNHP...

Why I now carry the SIG Sauer P320 Compact 9mm pistol

I just thought it’d be self evident to not intentionally drop a loaded firearm. I mean, I thought we were all adults, but, it is the internet so…..guess I’m wrong. Yeah, I try to drop them so the slide goes back under inertia. Just me though. I’m not carrying a design that has, and the early...
