Well, I still don’t do it with any of my striker fired pistols either. You can do what you’d like, and I’m not condemning you. Just can’t bring myself to do it….
I’m not sure these will feed in a 1911 and, I’m pretty sure I’d beat the snot out of one without a recoil spring change. That’s one reason for putting them into AutoRim cases.
What have you done with the 230gr bullets to this point?
I have a M625-8 Performance Center revolver. I have a 240gr LSWC that I cast and load in AutoRim cases that develops 1,000fps from that gun. I can’t remember if they are loads I got out of Handloader Magazine or Speer #8 or Load Data dot com. The May be Elmer’s loads too. Can’t remember right...
They sure “klunked up” the design. I have no interest in one of them. To each their own though.
I bought a SA-35 for $699 at ZX in Ft. Wayne the middle of last year. That was $300 less than Midwest in Mishawaka.
Here is something I have hanging on my wall in my reloading room. I USED TO HAVE, man that hurts to say that, a non-fluted S&W M25 in 45 Colt that I ran these Linebaugh loads in. He seemed to pick that model to suggest loads for. They developed the advertised velocity in that barrel.
I’d rather hear nails on a chalkboard than listen to Ayoob for one second.
I would rather listen to Howard Funk. Here is his Gideon the subject. I was trained in the same mindset as HR on this issue, and, as someone with an “engineering mind", I tend to agree with his analysis of the physics of...
A lot of striker fired pistols can be had with them on. S&W M&P’s, Shields and the like. I personally have no need for a manual safety lever on the side of the frame or the slide at the rear of the pistol, regardless of manufacturer.
Beretta did themselves a favor when they came out with the...
I’ve met two. One was a deacon in a church in Mississippi. He realized it would be hard to "read" his Bible so, he bought an audio Bible. One of the smartest men I’ve ever met. Common sense galore and wisdom beyond his years.
I have a Girsan Regard “Sport". Maybe 500 rounds through it. 0 problems. It has a Beretta slide stop to interact with the older military surplus magazines. It also has a “D” hammer spring from Langdon Tactical.
This version has the “G” style decocker in it.
I’ve had zero issues with it. I don’t...
Against my better judgement…..I’m going to reply:
A discussion has input from both sides in a constructive manner. From day one of our interaction on this forum, you’ve done anything but that when I didn’t have you on ignore.
In fact, you’ve tried to bully and be belligerent when someone...
These are the molds I have for 45 Colt.

Completely understood what you meant. The trigger safety on a Glock style trigger can be there or not and the gun will still function fine. I’d not disable one because now, all my Glock clone pistols have aftermarket flat faced triggers. Don’t need them to shoot accurately with a Glock but we...
