      WTS: Smith & Wesson 4566

***SOLD*** Up for sale is a Smith & Wesson 4566 (.45 ACP) with one 8 round magazine and no box. This is a decocker only version. It has night sights but they are dim and almost done. I put 100 rounds through it with no problems. It has an excellent trigger in both SA and DA and is very...

An alternate look at handgun stopping power

Excellent article. Thanks for posting the link. Something was addressed in this article that I always had a hunch about when shooting different guns at the range and practicing self defense drills. I always had a hunch that the trigger travel and reset lengths were incredibly important and the...

suggest a handgun that's accurate and fun to shoot

If your main goal is accuracy, you can't beat a CZ-75B or a Browning Hi-Power. Under $600 you might need to get a hi-power clone. Those are arguably 2 of the most inherently accurate 9mm handguns.

First time firing my AK at 100 yards.

Unfortunately, no. Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 on a UTG mount using a bipod. Kinda feels like cheating but a scoped AK is the most fun of any scoped gun I've ever shot. That high variance relative to a well tuned AR or bolt gun makes an AK bullseye all the more exciting :)

Wanting a durable, reliable all steel 9mm

"But in pure answer of your question the 5906 has many good points and would give you and your family many lifetimes of service" +1 on this. If you really want an all steel pistol. I would even consider models with the alloy frames. These will last generations. It really depends on how much...

First time firing my AK at 100 yards.

My brother and I compete with one another with an Arsenal Saiga quite often at 100 yards. We have 5 shot group competitions and so far he holds the record with a group just under 2.25 inches at 100 yards. Most 10 shot groups open up to 3.5 to 4.5 inches, depending on the ammo but with golden...

      WTS: Ruger LC9 - LNIB

Did fine, no failures at all and was very accurate out to the 21 ft I was shooting from. I am not a huge fan of DAO guns though, more of a DA/SA guy. Bump.
