From the Yahoo article:
Never mind that the Stockton government cut the police budget in 2020 by $14m and lost 25% of their officers.
The courts handing down the 'light' sentences are ultimately run by elected officials.
But we'll throw the shop owners in jail. That will fix the problem.
The answer is that these three people get aggressively prosecuted and if found guilty punished to the fullest extent of the law. If an aggressive attack with pepper spray isn't a felony in Texas it should be. If someone is willing to strike a police officer with a weapon, they are surely a...
Seriously, boat ramp disputes are a thing? I've never met anyone unpleasant at a ramp although it's been a couple of decades since I've owned a boat. The world has changed.
Maybe, but I do realize things we thought were impossible 10 years ago are now reality.
My reasoning on blackouts isn't that scheduled blackouts are so outrageous they wouldn't dare be implemented (they would be), but rather that they would affect all people equally and that's the problem...
Did anybody think about the unintended consequences? The lead time for a whole house generator was 12 months and growing last time I checked. This idea will never be implemented, but if it were, one efficient commercial power plant would be replaced by tens of thousands of less efficient gas...
So telling. He wants the housed and unhoused to have a glowing future where they all feel safe and get along. A place where the unhoused don't live in their own 'filth'. He has no grasp of what addiction has done to its victims.
At the end of the day somebody is making good money off of the homeless, they wouldn't be there otherwise. It's the same with the illegals.
The host of the video says she's from Texas. She won't need to travel to Portland to see this stuff soon. Austin is the next great S******e
What about fireplaces? They wastefully release sequestered carbon for inefficient heat and, gasp, mere personal enjoyment.
Nevermind campfires. They are hugely inefficient plus they're clearly too dangerous for civilian use.
And rightfully so. Unless there is something significant we can't see on the video this is appalling. The cop who released the dog should face some serious questions.
I think it was Edward Snowden who said we're all on the list, it's just a matter of where on the list (I'm paraphrasing).
The point is that every citizen is on the list. Take a look at China's social credit system if you want to see the future.
I have had many Kershaw's over the years and I've been happy with all of them. The Kershaw Blur is a bit higher priced than what you're looking at but it's my all-time favorite chore knife. Their ~$30 knives have all been excellent.
Both of the knives you're looking at should have the...
Marion County (Indianapolis) did vote about 65% to 35% Democrat-to-Republican in the last election IIRC.
A run-of-the-mill slimy dishonorable politician that cared more for power than principles might take an anti-gun position simply to get support from confused and ignorant voters while...
Well, so much for Shreve being a good alternative to Hogsett. I immediately texted as requested by Guy.
Republican mayoral candidate Shreve calls for stricter gun control in public safety plan...
I have one right now. It's loaded with the information needed in an evacuation. I think the likelihood of that happening is very low but it didn't take long to set up. My wife carried one daily back and forth to her business. It held up well.
My wife and I watched How The West Was Won last night (We'll, I watched it. I think she slept through it).
It's 2.5 hours and loaded with big-name stars of the day. Not exactly a Western as it starts around 1840 when Ohio WAS the West and runs well past the civil war.
When I read the report of the destroyer Fitzgerald colliding with the ACX Crystal and thought about how long, serious, and systemic the problems were that lead to the wreck I lost all respect for senior Navy leadership. This looks to be another bad decision in a line of bad decisions.
