An IBC that is clean, dry and odor free wouldn't bother me for non-potable water. If you're looking at the used market you'll need to find one that was in food-grade service. They seem to be harder to find in this area.
For general service, cleaning certificates usually only show the last...
My wife and I spent more than planned on our property. That was 25 years ago. It's worked out great and we're very happy we did. The extra money is long forgotten but I suppose it could have gone either way.
I don't think this regulation stands a chance. There are a lot of very wealthy people on the gulf coast with a lot of big, powerful, expensive boats they spent small fortunes buying. They are not going to sit by quietly and see their fun diminished. I predict very well-funded legal challenges...
I'm waiting for the nannies to figure out that it's illegal to exceed the speed limit even when passing and then deduce that nobody 'needs' a car that can travel over 70 mph. Put a chip in all of them and cap the speed at the factory.
Has anybody tried bolting just the plastic IBC tanks to pallets and using them for firewood? If I could fill them half full it would e a win.
I use the cages for storage now but have no other use for the tanks. I don't move them much after they're full.
What's next? Perhaps a national ban on fireworks in the name of SAFETY!

We have a lot of hardwood flooring and use Bona brand cleaner. It won't do much for the scratches but it seems to do well with getting the dirt out and getting a shine back. With three large dogs, our floors have a tough life..

Privacy in travel is already gone. IPD alone has 250+ stationary license plate readers and several vehicle-mounted ones. Who knows how many are mounted statewide? If you carry your cell phone with you then forget it. Go to Google Maps (whether you were actively using it or not) and find...
Many years ago a coworker showed up with his face beat to hell. He had rolled his Plymouth Horizon (dating the incident) into a field close to his house and walked home. He was SF drunk and knew it.
It wasn't long before the cops arrived at his door and gave him a breath test. He claimed...
My travel calendar is full for the year but I like the idea. I stole your itinerary and stuck it aside for future consideration.
Thanks for the inspiration.
I've taken a few classes with night shoots and tried different techniques. I've decided on the FBI technique. I hold the flashlight in my weak hand away from my body and shoot one-handed if necessary.
I like it because it feels the most natural, requires the least amount of manual dexterity...
Here is what I don't understand; California, and San Francisco in particular, have huge and growing homeless populations. Crime is sky-high. The NY Times reported that the state economy is "on the edge" when not long ago it was the strongest economy in the country. One would think the...
My wife is a veterinarian and has seen a few cases of marijuana toxicity in dogs. From what I'm told they are very sensitive to it.
Sometimes it's clear. People come in and tell her what happened. Other times she's presented with a sick dog with symptoms consistent with dope toxicity but...
I started as a part-time package handler at FedEx in the mid 1980s and left 12 years later as a station manager. When I started the company was cutting edge, elite, expensive and put an insane emphasis on service. Pay was exceptional and management followed a priority of "People, Service...
I have the Glock version and often shoot it suppressed. Mine is completely stock and it's been absolutely reliable over a couple thousand rounds and is surprisingly accurate. If someone has weak hands the bolt might be tough to pull back.
The politics of this are old fashioned pandering but the technology may be new. I looked at the demo video for Evolve. IF it works as advertised I can see a market for it.
Let's face it; a concert with a 30 year old band and tickets costing over $100 isn't going to draw a high percentage...
