      Any Jeepers in here?

Just got a FCA notice for a PCM Software Update for 'certain 2020 Jeep Gladiators' with the 3.6. Anybody else here get the notice? Guess I call O'Brien down here on the south side to get it scheduled.

Do different generations have a stereotype firearm?

Early 50's here...mostly revolvers in my collection and the most recent purchases have all been SA. Though I do haver a 1911 because, you know...Tom Selleck as Magnum P.I!

The CZickness XLIII prepping for winter.

I've had the same from an over-the-bars at my first DINO race attempt in Plainfield. Came around a corner for a downhill and the right side 'option' was backed up, went left, hit a hole or too much front brake and over I went. The peanut gallery up the hillside made sure I could move myself...

First air rifle since I was a kid

I picked up this RWS 34 Pro Compact this spring directly from RWS ($350-ish) just to have a chance for some low cost trigger time when ammo got tight on the shelves again. Still dialing it in but the process has been entertaining and educational. It hits soup can hard and small groups should...

Would you spend 30K on a revolver?

My Gladiator is a Sport w/ the max tow package, so not up there in the Rubicon price range. It's a work truck and occasional CJ5 tow vehicle.

Would you spend 30K on a revolver?

30k for revolver? I don't think so. I might be able to justify money for a Freedom Arms or some custom work from a select few. Like mentioned above by Hopper, the Jeep addiction is pretty strong and my Gladiator NEEDS stuff so that's is where the remainder would go!

Which handgun did you use the most?

Revolvers...I really like the 'mid-frame' single actions Uberti Stallion .38spl w/ Trailboss handloads Ruger Single Six .22 Pistol... Walther PP .32, dates to the end of WW2 w/ mismatched slide and frame serial numbers

      Muzzleloaders for Squirrel and Rabbit

Mongo - I'll bring a .22 along to kill some time between shots. Your comment make perfect sense. A quick wipe or two of the bore is usually my standard between shot anyway. Patience - A walnut is a pretty hard to see at 25 yards. We use a golfball or the 2" clay pots as a targets for the...

      Any Jeepers in here?

My CJ-5 is a '77. 258/t150/d20 on 31's....pretty much stock except for the fiberglass body. My offroad experience is not extensive but there is a lot of experience in our club and when I want to I can take direction well! I was even more impressed with my CJ at Badlands than Hopper was.

      Any Jeepers in here?

Bee Camp Road was a fantastic ending to a great weekend. I am glad that pretty JL could run with my ol' CJ!

Anyone here carry a Buck 110/112?

I received a 110 Hunter as a Father's Day gift 4 years ago and it hasn't left my pocket since except for a few trips, concerts or sporting events. I've cut burlap off of root balls, opened cardboard boxes, split and skinned wire and a hundred other things. I try to touch up the edge weekly...

      Muzzleloaders for Squirrel and Rabbit

With all of the quality .22 rifles and optics available to us for small game, does anybody still venture afield with a small caliber front loader? I found a CVA Sqirrel rifle at a local antique store (still loaded even) that cleaned up real nice. Seems to shoot a spit patched .310 ball over a...

      GP100 in .327 thoughts?

Hey Everyone...I've been away for a few days and was surprised to this thread grow as it has. I wasn't expecting all the love for the .32 family. I had my Single-Six out yesterday with my daughter and we (I really mean she) was tagging a steel 6" spinner at 35yds with just about every shot...

      GP100 in .327 thoughts?

mmp...thanks for the welcome. I joined up a while ago at the urging of a good friend but never really got involved in posting anything. Then I realized I can't get involved in the 'classifieds' section until I reach 50 posts. I'll try not to make a mess of things on my way to 50! I enjoy the...

      GP100 in .327 thoughts?

That 5" is a good looking piece, though right now I really like revolvers with a full underlug so my thought was the 6". The 32-20 is interesting but not quite the same animal to reload? I would need new dies and would i be limited to an older gun or a Blackhawk? The .327 Henry has been on my...

      GP100 in .327 thoughts?

Hey Everybody...I currently have and reload for a Single-Six in .32 H&R which I enjoy very much. I am interested in a double-action revolver in the .327 Federal for a different experience but still allowing for the lesser rounds to be used. Can anyone comment on the GP100 in the .327...
