I did groceries on Sunday afternoon. Fired up the snow blower yesterday (I do like the extension cord hook up for the first start in a while) after pulling/checking the plug and filling the tank. Cranked over the old CJ-5 this afternoon just because it's so much fun in the big snows and it...
I enjoyed the 36-45 mins it took to walk both buildings with Hopper on Saturday. Looked like a 60/40 split of firearms related/actual firearms. Lots of AR parts if that is your thing. There were a few tables of private collections as well.
I just didn't take enough cash!
CZ P-01 w/ NATO Stock Number, 2 15rd mags and a 1791 Holster...$575.00
I put 200 rounds through it for a class with no problems.
Southside/Greenwood location, though I do routinely travel around Indy and the donut counties for work so some flexibility on a meeting location.
I would like to see...
Nice Magyars! That is really the look I am going for, just less the ejector rod...no real reason, the ejector rod-less Colt SAA's have always just looked cool to me. The single six platform, 'reduced' with 22lr/22mag and better fixed sights would be a neat update on the theme.
Ok...I know I asked about Reeder Custom Guns, but is there anybody locally who can do this type of work? Looking at doing a Sheriff Model style revolver on an older single six. 2.75" or so barrel. I like the look of the Heritage Barkeep as a start but think done well on a single six platform...
TRX...low impact, lots of core. Your body weight and foot position determines the resistance. I have also recently added a little kettlebell to the workout. 1-2 times a week with some off day stretching as well.
I partially herniated my lowest disc almost 23 years ago. The core work really...
I've got the max tow package option, so 7700# tow rating and the heavy duty, wider Rubicon axles with 4.10 gearing. The CJ as of now sits at about 3500# and the trailer at just over 2000#. I don't use 8th gear at all and try not to exceed 65 or so. Not always a quick trip but still faster...
I was much faster 35 years ago back in high school! Not so much today. That's why I carry...just to buy a little more time to git!;)
The reality is that last year was pretty crazy in the landscape industry and I just didn't keep up. Trying to be a little more active now!
jsx...thank you for that. I remember one of the responders helping had actually taken ahold of my daughters shoulder to move her along a little more quickly. He almost got cold-cocked from behind before I realized he was helping. We were all pretty confused. I only yelled at him a little...
9 years ago we had 3 idiots try to blow up our neighborhood. Scariest night of my life. We were hustled out of our neighborhood in our pj's, leaving a lot of vital stuff unattended and initially unprotected. LE did secure the neighborhood but we learned a few lessons. We now have an E&E Bag...
That comparison really brings out the ugly in the Shield, and I can understand the trigger dingus to satisfy the lawyers.
I think I like it, but I carry a Springfield 911 9mm...
Talked about my Jeeps a couple of times, figured it was time for a family pic.
We've hit the Put-in-Bay Jeep Invasion the last few years...it's a pretty good party!
Grand Marais in the UP...Gotta see the pickle barrel cabin!
Land-between-the-Lakes in Kentucky...we like to get a cottage at Lighthouse Landing in Grand Rivers.
A scaled up NAA revolver shooting a straight wall .25 centerfire? Similar case length to a .32 long. Needs to be kept smaller than the old Remington Pocket BP revolvers. And maybe Ruger could do a Bearcat with a 5" barrel for it?
I have a couple gifted by employers from the mid to late 90's...they are showing some wear right at cuff/sleeve. Got a nicer, finer material Carhartt for client meetings and such. Snap off hood. This one was made in Mexico.
Rotary dials, small town party lines, and woods walks with my Dad and his Ithica M49, and a 50 count box of shorts....my intro to .22's leading upt to my Glenfield 25 at age 13.
