I've been shooting S&W model 41's since 1960. I've also owned a Browning Medalist, a High Standard Victor, a Browning Buck Mark and a few others that I can't remember. The only one of them that came close to the 41 was the Buck Mark. I will be shooting the 41 this
afternoon.

I'm looking for suggestions for a clean burning 185 gr. target load in .45ACP. I'd like to be at about 700 - 750 fps. So far

I started out using RCBS dies but switched to the Redding titanium sizing dies when they first came out about 50 years ago. I started using their micrometer seating dies when they came out some years later. My only exception to all this happiness is the Lee factory crimp die for the .357 Sig. It...
I've been wearing "progressive" (not liberal) lenses for general use including pistol shooting for several years. They work pretty well for me. Not perfect, but better than sitting home watching TV.
I've dealt with Dawson a couple of times and am glad to give them my highest recommendation. They even answer questions on the phone. Real good people.
The announcement of a new Kimber facility in Troy, Alabama says that it will be a design, engineering and manufacturing operation. Can this be the start of a move to a friendlier location? "Don't surprise me none."
After buying, using and discarding several "universal sight tools" I came across the "Sight-tool.com" made by 4x4 Machine in Poulsbo, WA. It's available on Ebay for about $68 and is the first one that never failed me. The only mod I have made is to add an additional pusher block so I don't have...
