Thanks everyone, I've decided on H series Cerakote. Already have everything i need equipment wise and since the AR is only partially assembled at the moment it should go pretty smooth after i take it apart and go through the whole rigamarole of degreasing and pre-heating the parts. It doesn't...
Thanks for the input, I've looked at that CVA a time or two and price-wise i think it'd be a good choice. Helped a little with small game for friends in the past so maybe i wont be as helpless as i think. haha
Thank you very much, i appreciate the knowledge. I just got into firearms in general a few years ago and hunting is something i'd really like to participate in. Grew up in a house without guns and no hunting so i'm starting from scratch here. My father-in-law used to hunt so if/when the day...
Rounds flying in front of my line of sight is a cross i have to bare anyhow, haha. Good point on the bolt action though..i thought about that too since cheaper models like the Ruger American jumped on the LH train but..if i'm being honest i'm a sucker for a lever action.

Thanks!
Not new per se but i might as well be. Started a profile last year and well life got in the way of goofing off on the internet. Look forward to getting to know everybody! I'm on quite the budget being in school and starting a family so currently just have a M&P Shield 9 and an almost complete Ar...
I Work full time, go to school, have a baby, and train in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu everywhere in between. difficult to find spare time but i do appreciate the advice and intend to be more active in here when i can.
I'll use golf as my back-up, haha. I'm really looking to fill my freezer with meat that i harvested myself rather than just pick up a new hobby. Already have too many of those @_@
Hoping to get started deer hunting this upcoming firearms season and seeing as how i never have before i could sure use some advice. seems overwhelming from the outset with no prior knowledge. Besides a rifle/shotgun,license, camo, and some hunter orange what else should i have in my possession...
