      caryy and house gun mags are loaded. competition mags are unloaded after the match and transported/stored empty :cheers:

      ive been using a dillon CV500 tumbler since '96. always used corncob, but it seems like the last batch i bought didnt clean very well, so i switched to walnut and hornaday polish with a torn up dryer sheet in it. i usually run 45-60 minutes, stop and check the process. if it needs more...

      Advice on finding an adoptable dog

      both our dogs were rescues from local (lake county & laporte county) shelters. both dogs are/were GSD mixes, shadow topped out at 80lbs, blitz tips the scales at 100lbs. the shelter knew shadow's history, blitz was brought in by animal control as a stray.

      Do you test run all your mags?

      i test run all my mags for my competition guns. if i make any "modifications" to a gun, i'll test run it with several mags. all my mags are numbered as well, easier to pinpoint a malfunction to a specific mag.

      many years ago when i bought my 1st house, i wanted a short barreled 12G for a "house gun" i picked up a winchester 1300 defender. over the years, it morphed into a competition gun. lots of bowling pins fell to it. ive used it in "tactical" shotgun and 2 gun matches.

      Probably too early in the year for any info to be posted yet. Last year rimfire falling steel was on the sunday after Saturday's USPSA match. You can findthe rules and divisions on RFFS website. Wildcat was not running any 2 gun divisions last year

      with the unavailability of components, and ridiculous prices when they can be found, lack of gun inventories, ( and higher prices) i'll shoot what i have, not planning on adding any guns at this time. when i run out of ammo, my season will be over..
