I have the original square model with the original delta reticle, SeeAll was selling them at half price probably because they were changing over to the new delta and cross hair reticles. Since these are limited in range by your eyesight, I think they will work better on a handgun than a rifle...
Tried one on a Remington 597 22LR rifle and I was surprised at how well it works. For rifle functionality I'd place it between regular open sights and a good set of aperture sights, certainly not as useful as a scope. I have plans to try it on a Ruger 22LR target pistol, but haven't got there yet.
The Wild Basin area in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park has several good hiking trails. There are ranger stations throughout the park where the park rangers and/or volunteers can steer you to good hiking trails.
Here's a link to an outfit called All Electronics, they sell a variety of surplus electronic gear. If your connectors are of the mono phone plug type, the link I supplied may help, otherwise browse around to see if anything matches.
The Lyman manual is one of the best for reloading procedures, plus it uses a variety of bullets and powders and covers all the popular calibers. Add one from your favorite bullet manufacturer and you will have a good start. If you use Hodgdon, IMR, or Winchester powders the current Hodgdon...
Both the 1891 and the 1897 should not be used with high speed ammo, it was later in the development that the bolt was strengthened for high speed ammo. I'd probably shoot just the CCI quiet ammo through these just to be sure....
Also not an expert, but I do have a Marlin 39A. :) Both of these rifles are early models in the 39A lineage. The side loading 1891 was primarily made only in 1891, about 5000 were made. The original rear sight on the 1891 was fixed in elevation, so that is probably why the tang sight was used on...
Many Labradar users have an external battery pack, but I have had good luck using Energizer AA lithium batteries. I try to be efficient in the use of power on time, and I like the convenience of not having the external battery pack. As they say, your mileage may vary.... especially if you are...
See notice on the distributor site regarding black Friday sales:

Usually the other sellers such as Brownells have the same sale prices....
I could give some tips for Ford replacement keys, but that won't help you... If no one here has a solution, I suggest that you join an online Dodge Ram forum and search the messages for replacement keys, it's a common problem. If the search doesn't turn up anything, post a message asking for...
Instead of buying a generic cover from Cabela's, you can buy a near custom cover here: Boat Covers, Canvas Boat Covers | Boatcovers.com
The cover I bought from them fits well and has been durable, you can search by make and model or by type. Pick the material that best fits your storage...
I have a standard electric attic fan, on very hot days it will run for a few hours after sunset until the attic temp drops below the thermostat set point. With a solar powered fan, it would shut off at sunset and not provide those extra hours of cooling air flow. However, a solar powered fan is...
Almost all reloading dies use a standard 7/8-14 threads, so any die set will fit. The exceptions are dies for the 50BMG which have to be larger, and some Dillon dies for the low cost Dillon press. But the dies from RCBS, Lyman, Hornady, Lee and Redding will all fit.
If you can't locate a suitable tree or trees to hang your food, another option is to stash your food in a bear proof container and hide it a good distance from your camp.
I have a Labradar, but before it was available I would have bought a Magnetospeed. The "conventional" chronographs with skyscreens take some time to set up and align, and you have to have access in front of the shooting bench which can be difficult if not impossible at public ranges. Brian Litz...
