      1st time packing

      How about a not so fond memory? First time out I had a cheapo Uncle Mike's holster. I carried to the church where my son's scout troop met. Went to use the restroom. The holster flipped upside down and my pistol fell out of the holster and hit the tile floor. Didn't go off. No one saw it...

      Crossing into Illinois while carrying?

      I have to travel to Chicago and stay overnight several times a year on business. I've been following the law as near as I can tell, by unloading and storing my firearm when exiting the vehicle to enter the hotel.
