Hahaha... I was looking for other words, but English is not my native language and those were the only ones I could think of. Maybe " grip" would had been a better choice...
Glock with crack in the grip – is there a way to fix it?
A friend is selling his Glock 19 second generation. It seems to be in good condition, except fot a crack in the grip – see pic (this is a photoshop simulation, just to show where the crack is).
Is there a way to fix/seal/glue this...
Those were the full and compact sizes. The subcompact models 26, 27, 28 and 33, no matter what generation, have and allways have had dual springs. I am not sure about the other subcompact models.
Well, yes, that is what I am doing, tapping the gun, a strong tap.
What I do not know is if the wear is just from the slide being forced off or if it is also from the rod rubbing the frame while shooting.
Glock 26: can this become a serious problem?
I just bought a used G26. It is an old 2.5 generation that seemed to be in perfect condition.
I noticed that sometimes it is difficult to field strip this gun, as the slide does not come forward. I am no new to Glocks, and know well how to...
I have the possibility of buying any of these two pistols. Although they are not of current production both are new in box.
The Ruger has the reputation of being utterly reliable, accurate, and long lasting. Almost all the comments I have read are positive. The only negative in this...

My friend will sell the 9000s to me, if I want it. I am considering buying it. I do not care about the rubber cover (well, lack of..) but I am concerned -just a bit- about the safety lever recall that affected early .40 F type 9000s.
This one was manufactured in 2.000 (BN code) with s/n...
That push button under the mag release IS part of the mag release. It is external, but in the "dressed girl" pics I put a bike tube that covers said buttom.
indykid, it seems to me that the "very thin sleeve over the plastic frame" that you see is the rubber (polymer?) that covers it. This...
Slim, I would say, as my friend bought his 9000s new in box, never used, directly from a dealer. Dealer could have cleaned it with a solvent, but that would be very unusual....but who knows... :dunno:
A friend of mine just bought this Beretta 9000S .40s&w, new in box. This gun was stored for +/-11 years, it was manufactured in 2.000 (BN code), s/n 005xxx. Early production as far as I know.
The rubber/polymer grip was falling in pieces. It seems that this rubber degenerates with time. I...
Hello. I just registered, and this is my first post.
I just bought a .40 9000s wich I find difficult to hold right - I do not have big hands/long fingers - and also very difficult to disengage the safety especially when trying to do it fast.
indykid, I would like to know how you hold it -...
