Usually depends on the gun.. Hand/long gun and to what ranges I am sighting in at.. Usually a min of 5 for each range usually gives you a good ball park for your load development.
I was able to find a cheap no name digital scale off of ebay for Less than $10. Came with a known weight bar to calibrate everyonce in a while. Has been very good for me and I've used it for about 3 years now. I have also tested it against some other known weighted items and has been accurate...
Thank you all for the help so far. It is good to have a recourse like this for information. As far as cost... I don't want to break the bank but I understand there will be a good chunk of change here. I noticed on RRA the 458 is ~700 plus the cost of brass and dies then. This would be my max...
The 44 I use now is a lever. I'm intrigued by the 458 AR style or a bolt. Not that I need more than one shot but I like having the capacity for sighting/practicing.
I'll look into the 450 Bushmaster. Thank you for the input.

I am looking for your answers/opinions on a new deer rifle. I currently use a 44mag primarily but am tossing around the idea of another deer gun. I know the 44 mag will do the job just fine along with a shotgun but I want something different for the the collection. I have...

Hello,
I have a Barely used Lee Progressive 1000 Reloader for sale. It is currently set up and I have only loaded ~115 9mm Bullets through it. It was just purchased last weekend at the Indy 1500. I am selling due to just recieved a hornady lock n load for my birthday and would rather keep that...
Hey there,
I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and he brought up a place called (what he thinks he remembers the name to be) Black Hills. I believe it is somewhere in the huntington/wells area. Not real sure on anymore details but I'm wanting to say he told me you could put-n-takes...
I've often wondered the same thing but never been worried about it enough to take my ammo out of my truck. Always shoots fine and never had one blow up! (knock on wood now)
I had that problem with some 45acp I loaded. I was using a rcbs set then. I sold that and now use a Lee 4 die set which includes the factory crimp die. ALL problems were solved after that with 100% success.
thanks for all the help guys. looks like there are more good than bad to say about it here from the users. Another question I have for you all is I thought I saw somewhere that you had to use only certain manufactures of primers for the system. Is this true or can you use any primer brand?
Thanks for all the help guys. I agree the dillon would be the best choice but I'm on a budget. I'll wait a lil longer and see if I get any more replys on your opinions.
Thanks again
