That's what i've been doing, but in a low light situation in a bad area when I'm out working, a blindingly bright, 110 lumen x300 sure would be handy to have already mounted to the weapon. Talk about a frustrating situation. I wish surefire would be like viridian. They make lasers, but also...
Well, I've got a drop leg rig that works nicely, unfortunately you get some pretty strange looks walking into lowes with a setup like that. After reading some reviews though, I may just give the Raven folks a try. From looks alone, they seem like they wouldn't want to stay in place well, but...
I prefer kydex, but due to the lack of success so far, leather would work as well. Not much of a fan of canvass though. Preferrably OWB, price doesn't matter, as long as it will accomodate the light.
I've got a 4" XDM that sports a surefire x200. Problem is, I can't seem to find a decent holster for it that will accomodate the light. I was just wondering if anyone else found themselves in the same predicament, and what you may have found. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I personally would stay away from the 5.45x39. To date, I don't believe that there are any domestic manufacturers of this round, and in the event of a ban on the importation of ammo, which is the latest gossip, you're stuck with a rifle that you can't get ammo for. At least not until someone...
+1

Best bet would be to go to some of the websites that specialize in kits, and build it yourself......not only would you save on the excise tax by purchasing one not yet built, but most of the vendors offer discounts for LEO's.
I don't know the answer to this question, but what I will tell you is to take anything that Russ (owner of Ranger Supply, gun store in question) says with a grain of salt. I've known him for a while, and while he has quite a knowledge base, there's normally a lot of rhetoric and personal...
Jus wanted to say hello, and to share my gratefulness for a site such as this. Just from the couple of hours that I've spent browsing the threads here, I'm seriously excited to have other Hoosiers with which to share information with.
Exactly right! If you're evasive and being uncooperative, it just gives them reason to believe that you might be up to no good. If you're a law abiding citizen, and the only thing you're doing is posessing a firearm.....legally, then why not let them know for your safety and theirs, so you can...
