I had one of the very 1st G36's released to the public when I lived in GA. I had it for about 3 years and loved it. The grip was good, it shot great, and was super reliable. I would buy another.
None of the Fobus ankle holsters I've had have slid down. You'll just have to cut some of the extra velcro band off to be most comfortable. Just don't cut too much so that the hard part of the velcro is exposed or it will catch on your pants.
I carry my Glock 33 (same size as 26) in a Fobus all the time...I love it, I like it better than my old Galco ankle glove. I've carried (at least a back up) in an ankle holster for almost 15 years now and the Fobus is the best and most comfortable. I carry my Kahr PM40 in one as well.
We found out Friday that my wife Pam is pregnant:rockwoot: About a year and a half ago we lost a baby (went in for an ultrasound and no heartbeat) We had tried fertility drugs among other things and about 2-3 months ago we pretty much gave up and decided we were blessed with the 3 we have...
I bought one for my stepson about a year ago from Sportsman's Warehouse and the wood is very nice and so is the fit on the rest of the rifle. It looks just as nice as my "old" one from 1986.
