Doug Ritter was kind enough to send me this photo he had taken of this knife that I donated to his fund raiser.
It is forged from a piece of 5160 has a 3.25 inch blade and the scales are Madrone Burl.

Gentlemen thank you for the information and complements.
Sorry I haven't set up a web site yet, at the Art of Steel show a lot of the makers recommended that I just do a Facebook page. After my daughter graduates ISU next week I will have her set up one or the other up and manage it for me.
The knife
Forged 5160 with a full tapered tang and nickel...
Thank you sir, here shortly I am going to forge a Moran style ST24 fighter and a Southwest Bowie (similar to pic below) for a guy at work. I'll post pics when I finish if I don't forget.
Hello all I am looking to have some knife sheaths made for the knives that I need to make between now and the end of the year. I have seen pics of some nice work on here and was wondering if one of you gentlemen or ladies would be interested in working with me on getting my knives in a custom...
Sorry I didn't see on the post where you sent me a PM, I don't sign in every day and didn't see it. I am willing to help you out, the easiest way to get in touch with me is email. Send me what you have in mind and let me know your ideas. Again I apologies. dot61h@yahoo.com
I may be able to help you out after I get back from the Art of Steel show in Arkansas. Real busy now trying to get knives ready to go, you can give me a holler late Feb. or early March if you can wait that long.
Let me know
