i thought i was the only one who still did that haha.
i've never been in a sticky situation without a cell phone or means of defending myself. i simply would have sped up to see how bad they wanted to pursue me. if it persisted i would've called my wife and had her meet us at the driveway...
it's hard to wrap your head around a scenario like this. family is above all else, but being family doesn't eliminate the fact that they are wrong.
i'd do what it took to protect the innocent. enough said.
i am curious of this, as well.
at 25 yards i can shoot a 4" pattern with my carry gun. i see that as the equivalent to someone's face, that was always good enough for me. i doubt i'll have to rely on my 4.25" barrel to take someone out at 75'+. i've never shot for a pattern closer than 25...
jack of all trades, master of none. i recall reading that as a description and i could not agree more.
if you want a bigass, goofy looking revolver, just get a s&w 500...at least you know that mfer will stop someone haha. my bro-in-law has a 500. i shot it once and determined it was a waste...
thought this would be relevant and hadn't seen it anywhere. i just changed my address. they will change your address in the system for free, but will charge you $20 if you want another permit sent to you with the updated address on it.

i would've found another vantage point to positively identify this mystery person making feeble attempts to enter my house. i definately would not have shot through the door. had i seen it was a drunk college girl, i definately would have opened the door and got her out of those wet...
most of it is a myth. however, after serving in the military and witnessing said "tests" on people, my father suggested i carry 45 auto. not because of what he read on the internet or what pictures of gelatin he saw. think about it.
i often wonder the same thing when i read threads like this.
to the OP:
so you OCd in a public place and *think someone made a "frantic" phone call to...management? the feds? the fire dept? who knows? maybe someone found a turd in the mop bucket again, who knows. does your OC experience in...
i disagree. i see my car as i see my house. you wouldn't let someone in your house knowing they have drugs or illegal guns or anything generally unsafe. i hope you'd view your vehicle as the same. i feel i'm ultimately responsible for the vehicle. throwing trash out of it, yelling out of...
i simply inform the officer as quickly and politely as possible. he/she will instruct from there, each person is different. usually right after asking for the license and registration i squeeze in my say...something like:
(license and registration, please)
me - yes...you should know i have...
i agree 110%. how does someone in their RIGHT mind walk into the WRONG house? i didn't read the story, how did this dude get into the house? the doors and windows at my place are locked 24/7, maybe more people should employ this practice.
haha ok. what i'm seeing is this:
guys shot first for open carry - 2
crimes not committed due to open carry - ......but evidence and research show...
just clarifying ;)
so which is it? i believe you're saying it can't be determined either way despite the extensive research on both ends (but you're using way more words). i also think you are an open carry proponent, which is fine, but i won't try to argue my point to you citing people and books, etc.
you...
