      That used to be the law. Now, as long as it is out of plain sight, it can be left in your car on school property.

      I was thinking the same thing! Fortunately, I have not been pulled over since getting my LTCH. Local PD are pretty cool (it's a small town), but county can sometimes be a little more aggressive!

      I applied at local pd 12-28. Money order cashed by ISP on 1-2. Got mine in the mail on 4-18. It took 106 days, so I would think yours will be here soon.

      Illinois is dead to me....avoid it like the plague. Had a run-in with a state trooper in southern Illinois a few years back; not gun related, but traffic stop. Sounded just like the police from the movie "Idiocracy." "This particular individual is accused of being a particular individual..."

      Just got my LTCH in the mail yesterday! non L1 Applied at local PD 12-28-12 mailed same day Money order cashed 1-2-13 LTCH issued 4-12-13 Received 4-18-13 15 weeks & 1 day from time Money Order was cashed to receiving it in my mailbox
