Definitely get with whoever is in charge. You don't want to lose your job. You also never know when some liberal parent might make an issue out of it even if it doesn't get used. Personally, I would allow it and deem you some sort of "security" if I were in charge just to know everyone was safer.
FN FAL all the way...But these choices are sooo hard to make. Don't listen to any of us and just get both, the only reason you should take the advise is which to buy first but they are both definitely worth having.
The army will give you an auto opening Benchmade but you have to be active duty...then when you get back home again to Indiana you can't carry it but you can have all the firearms you want. Sooooo sad. Then comes along the SOGs and Kershaws that are "assisted". I think it is hokey.
