      Cold Steel Spetsnaz shovel

      Anyone familiar with Cold Steel's Spetsnaz shovels?? Once sharpened, they can be used for throwing or chopping. They are pretty cool!

      The 1 in 7" Twist M-4 Barrel Myth

      As I understand it, 1x9 is good from 62gr. and lighter bullets. 1x7 is good for 55gr. bullets and heavier. So, If you only shoot 55gr, or 62gr. like I do. Then, either twist is ok. :patriot:

      Midwest Gun Exchange

      I got some good deals up there a couple weeks ago!! They sure had a nice spread of guns and gear. I wish I lived closer, I would go there quite a bit.

      Parka Advice from those who know.

      If the parka is just for combating the frigid cold, Then I would go with a Swedish surplus parka with the green fur lining. I have one. Talk about toasty. If you want an all around parka. then go with a Gortex number & then wear layers .

      I use J. Dewey cleaning gear. It is top of the line, for sure. But, I use hoppes too.

      I would go with a Glock. But, if its your first gun, I would go with a revolver until your more experienced.

      I believe Aim Surplus has the surplus ammo for $120.00 per 1080rd,spam can if you buy 2 or more cans!!! Now, That's an awesome deal!!

      Polymer or wood? I like the grain of the wood & you can refinish wood. But, polymer cant be beat. It will take a good amount of abuse too. (not that that is a good idea)

      Tula .40 Ammo

      The steel cases are soft. therefore wont hurt your ejectors at all. Tula is pretty good ammo!

      Purchasing a firearm from CMP???

      You have to belong to a club of sorts that is recognized by CMP. But, when you purchase the fire arm, they send it directly to you. This is what i am told any way.
