I haven't posted much, but just finished a good book (When All Hell Breaks Loose) I wanted to share with folks. Cody Lundin... same guy that has that Dual Survival show going on the Discovery Channel; wrote the book. It's an easy read and has some good stuff. Read up!
The Walmart on 96th in Fishers does have a full cabinet of ammo however they still have a limit on boxes of .45. They had 6 boxes of Federal .45 for $15.97/box. As of 1:45 this afternoon they now only have 5 boxes left.
Stopped in this morning and saw cases of 9mm being placed on the shelf along with a whole bunch of .22 bulk packs. There didn't appear to be any .40, but there were ton's of .38 special win clean and JHP +P.
Stopped here this morning and they had every caliber in stock except .45. The shelves were LOADED (no joke, there was no empty space as of 7:00am) with .22 bulk packs, 9mm, .38 .40, .223, etc. etc.
Guy running the counter would only let me buy 1 .38 special value pack (try'd to buy 3). Said...
The Road is a great read and real eye opener. My guess is it was an asteroid of some sort that hit the earth causing all kinds of disruption including volcanic activity.... hence all the darkness and ash/soot.

Maybe it's just me, but when I try to click on the description for the MREs I get the following message, "Armygear.net currently is not carrying the product you have requested (MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) -YOU ARE BUYING TWO CASES)". Anybody else?
