      I have heard so many possibilities for hold ups it is unreal. Some say being in the military automatically delays you. I had been arrested but had charges dropped, never even seen a court room over 30 years ago which is why they claim mine is being held up. She even told me that those files go...

      Tough deal when an employer ties your hands at self defense. We can keep them in our car but forbidden to carry.

      I was lucky cause my wife wanted one first. She is a realtor and I felt it wasn't a good idea to be meeting strangers without a friend. The problem was she had no one to practice with so I got a new toy too :) I hadn't fire a gun since boot camp many years ago. Now we have fun shooting together...

      From what I have read in other threads there is a minimum number of rounds for these classes. How many do you think would be needed for this one?

      I was just checking out your thread on the intermediate classes. I've never taken a basic class but I read and practice a lot plus I stayed in a Holiday Inn express :) I work Saturdays so Sunday is a great day for me. I have to check with the wife to see if we can make the drive.

      LOL no unlimited budget but sooner or later I want to make sure I can hit what I am after. I do great at simple target shooting but seldom does that scenario ever come up :)

      Which local shooting ranges allow you to draw and shoot. I believe Eagle Creek only allows you to work from a bench. I practice this unloaded but would feel better to try to hit an index card from 20' like was stated here earlier.

      I am still buying online until things get better. The shipping sucks but it beats running around to empty stores.

      My wife and I shoot at Eagle Creek. They pick up our rounds as quick as I fire. I don't save them anyway but thought that was strange.

      Easy to understand a business not wanting or needing to spend the money just to hope to make money. That said I go for the varied amount of plain old random stuff you just can't seem to find elsewhere. The fee to go stinks but it is always a fun day.
